08.01.2022 It is absolutely vital that anyone attending junior or senior Grand Finals tonight or tomorrow at the Tasmanian Hockey Centre adhere to the COVID-19 restrictions currently in place. Whether you're the Chair of the Board, the CEO, or just there to watch your 12 year old niece for an hour, EVERYONE must be keeping their 1.5m minimum distance and being seated to consume alcohol. A reminder that it is a $1000 individual fine for anyone not adhering to these restrictions.

The survey shou...ld take no longer than 5 minutes to complete and we would be incredibly thankful to all members who find a moment to answer the questions honestly and provide constructive feedback on the season that was to help us improve and make decisions for the future of the sport. The survey is open to anyone who is connected with the Tasmanian hockey community, including but not limited to players, coaches, managers, umpires, officials, administrators, parents, spectators, life members, and everyone else. You can find the survey here: https://us17.list-manage.com/survey

Communities, Sport and Recreation is hosting a FREE webinar next week... for all sporting clubs and associations with information and tools to enhance fundraising and financial management at your organisation: https://www.communities.tas.gov.au//money-in-sport-easy,-s Hockey Tasmania will be attending the webinar too and should have a recorded copy if anyone can't make them and wishes to engage the resource. Also Volunteering Tasmania is offering small grants to volunteer based organisations across Tasmania to support the efforts of volunteers in building stronger, more resilient communities. Grants between $1,000 to $5,000 can be used by volunteer-involving organisations and community groups to support the efforts of their volunteers and encourage and increase participation in volunteering. https://www.volunteeringtas.org.au/2020-supplementary-volu/
