23.01.2022 Think your school might be shutting down soon? Scholastic to the rescue!

19.01.2022 We are so excited to be reopening the clinic today and to welcome back all our clients! Please note, we have a COVID19 Safe Workplace document you are welcome to access. Please wait in your car until contacted by your therapist to come into the clinic to reduce the number of people in the clinic at one time. Please only bring one other person with you to the clinic (i.e. client and caregiver) Please make use of our sanitiser or bathrooms to wash hands before and after each s...ession. We can't wait to see you all again! Bek and Pete See more

12.01.2022 With school back in a couple of weeks, now might be a great time to teach your Key Word Signer, some useful ways to understand and talk about COVID19 with others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7FmgKu-gtg

08.01.2022 Great work Veronika- humour is so important in Augmentative and Alternative Communication. Nice delivery as well.

08.01.2022 We had a little visitor to the clinic this week! He was a bit lost, so stayed with us for the day keeping us company during Telehealth sessions. Such a good boy. Maybe we need a therapy dog

06.01.2022 In light of the Coronavirus pandemic and in the interests of keeping our clients well and safe we are now asking that: All clients to the centre wash their hands at the beginning of each therapy session. Clients cancel or reschedule their appointments if they or the carers/support staff bringing them to appointments are unwell. You consider using our skype therapy service to avoid face to face contact, if this is available and appropriate for you.

06.01.2022 Alison and team are presenting a very important message on managing routines and time. Click on the link below:

04.01.2022 We are excited to announce we are ready to Zoom! Zoom is the tele-health platform we have chosen to offer all our clients online sessions. Importantly, and in line with Government directives, all face to face appointments will be changed to Zoom appointments or telephone consults effective from today. A clinician will be in touch with you before your next appointment to talk you through this, and we will upload a 'how to'video here also. Stay well and safe and we will see you soon. Bek and Pete

03.01.2022 A social story from Easterseals about Coronavirus-19. Wishing you health.

03.01.2022 Happy Easter to all our lovely families! Hope Easter Bunny found you.

02.01.2022 One of our clients who is difficult to understand, particularly at times of excitement and stress recently came to us with a great question: How can I contact emergency services effectively when I'm in an emergency? It really got us thinking about how this question applies to many of our clients!. The National Relay Service offers assistance to those that use an AAC device, those who are difficult to understand on the phone or are hard of hearing. You can read more below, or contact us to make a plan together. https://www.communications.gov.au//nat/emergency-calls-000 https://www.communications.gov.au//nat/emergency-calls-000
