22.01.2022 First Van to hit the streets...

21.01.2022 These photos are of a photo-electric smoke detector that was recently taken out of a commercial building. As it can be seen, there is an excess of dust as it was placed too close to an air conditioner. This can cause faults and/or false alarms (thereby bringing out the big red fire truck). This conventional Smoke Detector was recently removed from an office building in Lismore and was installed when the building was constructed 25 years ago. And it has only been replaced as the Fire Detection System was being upgraded to addressable (newer technology) and was still fully operational....
