A very early morning hike on Hamilton Island to the scenic passage peak lookout was the perfect spot. After an exhausting climb he convinced her to climb onto the rock and sit and admire the view. Little did she know that Mike had his friends Lachy and Monique hidden in the bushes with cameras ready for the biggest moment of her life!... She was brought to tears of joy when he presented a Hogans box and got on one knee. She said yes a handful of times and once realising what had just happened was then told she had to get herself prepared to board a yacht that was waiting for her and all of her friends in the harbour to let the party begin What a day to remember! Georgie’s ring was handmade by Lachy with an incredible 2.5 carat champagne emerald cut diamond flanked by kite shaped diamonds either side It has very fine, delicate features which compliment the rose gold colour. 02.01.2022 Congratulations Lindsey and Rita on celebrating your 60th Wedding Anniversary. Lindsey and Rita travelled from Chinchilla to Toowoomba on the 17th December 1959 to buy their engagement ring. They were married on the 3rd September 1960 in the Methodist Church in Chinchilla, with wedding bands from Hogans Family Jewellers. Lindsey and Rita were a farming family growing mostly grain and also at different times, raising cattle. They also had a fuel depot to help supplement their... farming income. In 2000, Lindsey and Rita retired from farming and moved to Toowoomba four years later. They now enjoy life in one of the local over 50’s resorts. The Dalgliesh’s have been blessed with a son and daughter as well as 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. They feel very privileged to have shared 60 wonderful years together.
