24.01.2022 The iconic Mindil Beach Sunset Markets are open on Thursdays and Sundays from 27th April until 30th October. A must visit attraction when you are in Darwin. Hop off at stop 6.

The scenery has changed and many say it is at its best as nature puts on some of its best shows and for this reason many repeat visitors prefer the wet season. Be warned though, it is generally hotter and can be very humid.

06.01.2022 Darwin CBD The vibrant city of Darwin is on a peninsula that reaches into Darwin Bay its bordered by sea on three sides, which means that getting around town comes with frequent glimpses of the pretty harbour between the colonial buildings and parks. Smith Street Mall is at the very centre and is surrounded by hotels, government offices, Parliament and the court buildings. Most the tourist venues will be located around the waterfront, on Stokes Hill Wharf Precinct and alon...g The Esplanade. Running parallel to The Esplanade, youll find Mitchell Street, Darwins nightlife strip. Mindil Beach Only 3km from the CBD on Fannie Bay and adjacent to the Botanic Gardens, Minil beach is most famous for its cosmopolitan sunset markets held from the last Thursday in April until the last Thursday in October. Food stalls are set up behind the beach. Wander the arts and craft stalls, taste foods from all over the world before settling on the sandy beach as you take in a famous Top End sunset. East Point Reserve North of Fannie Bay, East Point Reserve is a beautiful natural area close to the city centre there are large groups of wallabies and great views of Darwins city lights across the water.
