24.01.2022 Sooo many weeds, so little time. Still hoping for volunteers to boost our group on Thursday mornings. Would love to see more interested locals visit us. Can you guess how many fish we have in the bathtub pond?

23.01.2022 Beautiful day in the garden for art this week.

22.01.2022 What beautiful weather for gardening. This week we planted some vege seeds, dahlia tubers, sunflowers, did some weeding (that is an endless task) and thinned some of the carrot and beetroot seedlings.

18.01.2022 Just a little Ollie.

18.01.2022 Bit cold in the garden today, and Ollie isn’t here so here are some pretty flower pics to brighten your day.

17.01.2022 It was a cold day in the garden today so Mollie and Ollie enjoyed some cuddles. Check out the size of our sunflower, how high do you guess it will be when it flowers???? The watering system was flushed, no one likes that job, so thanks to Ken for his dedication to the task. We would love to have some visitors if you are passing, 9-12(ish) on Thursdays please come and say hi.

14.01.2022 The plant sale for the Anglican Church and Holbrook Community Garden was a great success and any left over plants will be available from the Op Shop through the week if you were unable to make it this morning. Thank you to everyone that braved the rain.

14.01.2022 Thank you for all the donations and for such a great display.

13.01.2022 Cold and foggy day but still a few splashes of colour around. We still have heaps of spring onions and iris for free available.

13.01.2022 Plants, flowers and a variety of other items available, please come and support the Anglican Church and the Community Garden. Saturday 24 October from 9am in front of the Op(p) Shop. Ollie was helping out today.

12.01.2022 Firstly thank you To the Cossor and Whitehead families for the wonderful horse poo and to Graham Mulloy for carting it to the garden. Despite the cold and frost we had lots of fun this week with Ollie, he was a big help. Still have rhubarb corms and strawberry plants available. Carrots were thinned again and leeks pulled. Drop by if you want any and leave a donation if you can. Oh, nearly forgot that we found a unique insect trap.

11.01.2022 The sun was shining and it was a lovely day to be outside. Ollie is getting bigger and makes us all waste way too much time.

08.01.2022 Very cold outside today but we managed to plant some spring onions and remove some more weeds from garden. Great to have Ollie back.

05.01.2022 Rhubarb, more rhubarb and Ollie.

05.01.2022 SAVE THE DATE: 24 October plant stall to support the Holbrook Community Garden and the Anglican Church to be held in front of the Holbrook Op Shop commencing at 9am.

04.01.2022 A huge thank you to the Pincott family of Holbrook Paddock Eggs who donated the new chooks.

02.01.2022 The plant stall was a great success, we raised over $1600 to be shared between the Anglican Church and the Community Garden. A huge THANK YOU to everyone that helped either by donating plants for sale, turning up to buy something, or helping on the day. Plants will still be for sale at the Op Shop if you have missed out. Our chooks are going on a farm-stay holiday for a while due to a complaint, so I have shared a pic of them enjoying a last supper of greens from the garden. And last but by no means least, Molly and Ollie were enjoying some sunshine and pats while others worked.

02.01.2022 Love this weather!! Spring has to be the best season, everything is bursting into life, seedlings are coming through with the promise of fresh produce. Ollie wasn’t at the garden this week so Molly came for a visit instead. Have a great week and if you are in the area drop down for a visit on Thursday’s or just to walk through the garden anytime.

01.01.2022 Holbrook Community Garden and Anglican Church sake still going ahead, even if it rains. If raining it will be under cover, still at the Op Shop. Please come along and make it a great day for both charities. You may even be able to meet Ollie...
