08.01.2022 *admin approved* Attention Victorian lovers! Shannons Auctions Heatherton is recruiting! For most people, automotive enthusiasm is sidelined as a hobby. But how... good would it be to work amongst the coolest cars in Australia, without having to buy or fix them? Shannons Auctions Victoria is looking for two car enthusiasts willing to combine their passion with their professional life, with both a casual and full-time role on offer in Heatherton. The two roles are: Auctions Assistant - casual * a newly-created, part-time role to help us muck in and move stuff around; organising and positioning Auctions lots (cars, bikes, memorabilia and numberplates, mainly) * Auctions night preparations * general customer service. Should be about 3-4 days/fortnight, including some Saturday shifts. Auctions Accounts and Admin Officer - full time * this role is being vacated after 25 years! So the opportunity to vye for this position is rare indeed. * debtor and creditor account management * banking and finance mediation * transport and vehicle logistics * client liaison * Auction Night management and/or support For this role, applicants must have previous experience in accounting, admin and finance. Hours are flexible and will include the odd late night, weekend and interstate travel. Casting the net wide on a recruitment website like SEEK will get us plenty of resumes, but for Shannons, it’s imperative that applicants are also hardcore enthusiasts with a passion for motoring.
