22.01.2022 It was another another fantastic race day yesterday. Thanks to Ipswich Kart Club and their committee for hosting the meeting. The Kart Republic family continues to grow and I’d like to congratulate all the KR drivers and their families for another great performance. Special thanks to Ryke and Remy Haller and Mum and Dad for making the long trip down from Ayr. Both boys made big improvements coming to grips with a new track. Well done to Luke Rinaldi who had his best performan...ce at Ipswich in arguably the toughest ever Cadet 12 field. Great job Rhyan Mueller in only his 2nd meeting in his KR once again showed great speed. Brilliant meeting by Ash Lester who dominated Tag Res M. Byron Phillips continued his great year and if not for a mishap coming through the field in heat 1 would have battled with the lead group in the KA3 final. Last but not least Zane Rinaldi overcome the massive challenge from NSW star Cody Maynes-Rutty to win the final and back up his win from last weekend. He once again proved wet or dry the Kart Republic is the kart to have in KA3 Junior. 08.01.2022 Last weekend saw Cooloola Kart Club host their first race meeting of the year and even with the threatening weather there was still a good turnout. Qualifying w...as held on Saturday afternoon with what looked like being the start of a wet weekend. Fortunately for me I watch it on Speedhive from Warwick where I was racing with some good old boys in the F100 QLD State Title before heading to Gympie to support the boys on Sunday. Kart Republic was represented once again by Zane Rinaldi in KA3 Junior who was going for his 3rd win in 3 weeks and started well by sticking it on pole he then went on to clean sweep the meeting with 2 comfortable heat wins an amazing defensive drive in the pre final with a mechanical issue and another victory in the final. However the final wasn’t so easy hot on his heels was Shaun Jaques on his debut for Kart Republic. Shaun has immediately come to grips with his new kart and after P2 in qualifying, pushed Zane all the way in the final and set fastest lap. The 2 KR’s where over 3 seconds clear of the field by the checkered flag. Rhyan Mueller once again showed some great speed and at stages over the day was the fastest of the three KR’s In Cadet 12 Luke Rinaldi was flying the flag for KR and qualified 4th and stormed to victory in the first heat. It came down to the final for the overall win between Luke and Isaac McNeill. Isaac jumped to an early lead Luke started to reel him in until he caught some lapped traffic and had to settle for 2nd but he drove great all weekend. Thanks to the CXR family Craig for the engines and technical help and Jace and Declan for spinning spanners on Rhyan, Shaun and Luke's karts. #kartrepublic #holdenkartracing #ravenolaustralia #cxrracingengines #rforce
