11.01.2022 We have just received progress photos of the renovations being done at the Chateau de Montsymond which will be our home for this year's holiday in France - 2 weeks - August 12-26, 2016. The Chateau is looking gorgeous. Bedroom photos will be uploaded as we receive them but believe me they will be beautiful. The heated pool is been finished with a large outdoor eating area. 08.01.2022 Well, 2015 Holiday Escape in France is done and dusted. What a great chateau and a lovely group of people. We all had lots of fun, eating, drinking, painting, going to jazz concerts markets and all those wonderful things that you do in France. 2016 is now planned and we will be in Burgundy at Chateau de Montsymond, a 16th Century property with 10 ensuite bedrooms. Log on to read all the information on what we will be doing in Burgundy next year. All bedrooms at the Chateau are ensuite. There is a gym, sauna, huge "park" for walks and deer spotting. 06.01.2022 Chateau de Montsymond in the Burgundy region of France is owned by Christophe Gay and his wife. This is their fourth Chateau in France and we have stayed in one of their others, Chateau de Mercurey twice. They really know how to decorate and present a property for rental by large groups. They are in the process of tweaking the inside of the Chateau to the same standard as the other 3. So when I have more photos I will post them,. We will be at this Chateau from August 12-26, 2016. 02.01.2022 Here we go again. The Chateau was so good we are going back in 2015. The dates are August 29-September 12. We all had the best time, the weather, the Chateau... and the group were spectacular. We have 3 double rooms left for 2015, it has filled up fast.
