20.01.2022 Did you know that sleep is an important aspect of self-care? Sleep can have a massive effect on how you feel both emotionally and physically. If we dont get the right amount for us, it can cause us to feel unmotivated, grumpy and can lead to health issues. How can you incorporate sleep as part of self-care? Start with your nightly routine. Do you drink caffeinated drinks late in the day? Do you get chance to wind down before sleep, or jump straight from what you were doing t...o bed? If you are feeling stressed and worried, can you write down the problems to get them out of your mind so you can rest? While it is not always possible to prioritise sleep, especially if you have small children, aiming to get as much sleep as you need will help you in all aspects of your life. Is there anything you can do to make your night time routine more soothing?
