After many pleading calls from real estate agents who couldn’t get their disclosures and my ex co-director avoiding their calls, I started up this company. At the time I was running Holland Searches whilst being employed by a law firm. We have grown over the years but our main objective remains to get di...sclosures out to the agents as quickly as possible. The Body Corporate Managers are becoming increasingly difficult about same day searches but we still manage to get the disclosures out within 24 hours because we know how important it is for agents to have them signed before the contract. In the beginning I recall another search agent saying to me ‘oh! You’re the one spoiling all the agents. Needless to say I don’t call it spoiling, I call it helping agents to sell properties. 14.01.2022 At lunchtime today we were evacuated from our building because of an electrical fire. We stood around for ages until they let us go in and collect our belongings. No power at all but they have the electricians in fixing that so we will be there early tomorrow morning making up for lost time.

13.01.2022 Following yesterday’s office fire we started at 7am today to try and get everything done. Unfortunately the fire burned through the Internet cables. Whilst we could get some work done through hot spotting our iPhones, we had no way of scanning or printing. We therefore decided to close for the day. I know this will be very difficult for some of our clients but we were powerless I these circumstances.

10.01.2022 After a few years of trying to hold off on increasing our prices we have had to fold under pressure of high fuel prices, the increase in fees payable by us to the various body corporate managers to enable us to do your searches for you and the additional wages we now pay to ensure a speedy delivery of Disclosures and Reports. There is a current trend lately for body corporates to have their buildings managed by Brisbane companies in the mistaken belief that they will get a b...etter deal than using local firms. This means that we are having to go to Brisbane much more often than previously and every run to Brisbane costs us at least $75 in wages alone for each search, whereas local searches can be done so much faster. We will be increasing our prices as of 1 August 2019. 07.01.2022 Happy Monday to all! We now have only 3 or 4 days to get your Diclosure Statements for you as many of the body corporate managers are closing Wednesday or Thursday. We are open until 12noon Friday but that will be to finalise any existing searches we have. As from 6 January, we have to have a Search Request in by no later than 4pm to enable us to promise to get it in for the following day. In some cases we will be able to in others not. If you have anything that needs a Disclosure Statement get your Request in now. Also, check the ones you have to make sure they are still current beause nobody will be open from 20th December to 6 January 2020.
