17.01.2022 Hello beautiful community, I hope you all had a relaxing festive season and are easing into 2021. It’s been such a time of transition, reflection and change ... I wanted to share with you a big decision I have made in flow with the shifting occurring in my life. And that is... that I & my beloved ‘Vocal Play’ will be stepping back from offering 1:1 singing sessions as of Feb 1st. Since graduating a short time ago in the field of music therapy, the interest and opportunities have absolutely come flooding in I am so grateful to finally be able to live my dream of connecting with and supporting people, children and families in our community through music. 2021 appears to have a lot of momentum and to ensure I focus my energy where it’s needed, whilst caring for my own well-being and balance, I’ve realised I cannot do it all. This means January will be the last month of offering singing sessions at Shake it Up Music, Nambour. Sessions are available on Wednesdays & Thursdays throughout this month, if you would like to make a booking please sing out!!! My heart is a little sad as I love my students dearly and enjoy teaching singing immensely. So I’m planning on doing some pop up vocal workshops this year to keep Vocal Play alive and to create opportunities for us all to sing and learn together again soon! Massive thanks to everyone who has supported Vocal Play and who’ve been along side me as I planted the seed, grew it slowly and watched it blossom. It’s not the end, just the beginning. Blessings. 01.01.2022 Hello everyone! I have some exciting news The time has come to expand the horizon and Vocal Play will be joining the music school at Shake it Up Nambour! This relocation will hopefully ease the access to voice lessons for many as Nambour is central to our community including hinterland and surrounding areas.
