23.01.2022 Kyarna Kyarna was born in 1986 on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast in Australia. Her earliest memories are of drawing on anything and everything. She is addicted to drawing and it is this driving force that takes her on a new creative path each time her pens touch the paper. She loves working with ink pens to create highly detailed, extremely fine pieces. Most of her work is in black & white, with the occasional colour highlight. We currently have a variety of Kyarna’s work in the gallery, ranging from Original ink drawings to Limited Edition Prints! Pop in and check them out ~ we even have a magnifying glass so you can see the amazing detail!

14.01.2022 Nick Fedaeff Nick was born in 1965 in Siberia, Russia. Creative on so many levels, his early Siberian days were spent painting, writing and playing music. A fun bet on a night with friends saw Nick emigrate to New Zealand where he furthered his expertise in the advertising world. A new life in a new country was eventually the catalyst for following his childhood passion of painting and becoming a full time artist. Inspiration can come from many sourcesdreams, observing life..., other painters or the esoteric creative seed randomly appearing at will. We have only got these 3 Original paintings left!!

14.01.2022 USA based artist Jay Alders has been pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a thriving professional artist since he was a child. Jay’s work is held in private collections around the world. Organisations like Emergen-C, Billabong, Endless Games, Donavon Frankenreiter, Ted Shred’s and Original Long Boards all have licensed Jay’s Art for their internationally distributed product lines. There are moments I zone out hypnotically and it’s the most relaxing activity I can particip...ate in. However, it’s not always the process of painting itself that’s the most rewarding, it’s being able to bring to life and share with others the weird things that float around my head. We have Limited Edition Giclee Prints available! Please contact us via email: [email protected]

11.01.2022 Susan Coburn Since turning 19 years old Susan has been fortunate enough to have travelled to many parts of the world and lived for a time in England and Spain. She studied art as a mature aged student and has been painting and teaching for the past thirty years. Interpreting ‘the line’ or mark has always been at the core of her work in whichever medium she works, be it collage, acrylic, mixed media or now in encaustic wax paintings. The horizontal horizon line is the first ma...rk to be made. We currently have 3 encaustic wax paintings available in the gallery!

08.01.2022 Martin Bakker Martin was born in 1963 in Cape Town, South Africa. He was hooked on surfing from the first time he entered the water at Kitchen Windows in 1976. Over the years he has become passionate about Jeffreys Bay and the surrounding areas. He was fortunate enough to move to Jeffreys in the 1980s. Despite all the radical changes taking place with development in recent years, he uses his art to preserve the classic look of J-Bay that he fell in love with all those years ago. This can be seen in his etchings and paintings. We have Original artworks & Limited Edition Prints available at the gallery

08.01.2022 ORIGINAL WORKS BY ALEX PLATT. Alex Platt was born in rural New South Wales, Australia in 1983. Daughter to gold prospectors, her childhood was set to a backdrop of the vast deserts and wild outback of Australia. She pursued a career as an artist, choosing to remain a self taught painter. Alex has now been exhibiting her work throughout Australia in both commercial and government funded galleries, for the past 11 years. Her work also having made it’s way into numerous private collections abroad. Now living France, her works are evolving as a result. Her work is often autobiographical, sometimes whimsical and always thought provoking. A connection with nature is clearly present, along with the later influences of domestic, and urban landscapes.

04.01.2022 Juan Ripolles Juan García Ripollés (Castellon) was born in Alzira (Valencia, Spain) in 1932. His mother died during childbirth and not long after, he moved to Castellon, known as Castellon La Plana. His early years were a struggle: horse dung collector, scrap collector and housepainter were just some of his professions before leaving for Paris in 1954. His desire was to be an artist and it was there that his dreams came true. Just four years later, his creations were hanging ...on the walls of the prestigious Drouand David Gallery, the same gallery that had earlier exhibited the works of Picasso and Chagall. Since returning to Spain in the 1970’s, the immediate natural environment has become his workshop. Even now in his 80’s, his routine has not changed and he can still be found painting in the vegetable patch of his old manor house in the small country hamlet of Mas de Flors in Castellon. For the past five decades, his canvasses and prints have been exhibited at the major galleries and museums of Amsterdam, New York, Tokyo and Beijing. His large-format sculptures have been seen in the parks and emblematic streets and squares of Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Lisbon, Venice, Verona, ‘s -Hertogenbosch and Beijing. I love bread and my idea of Paradise is life itself. I don’t mix my words. You are you. It is my pain, my thirst, my glance, my love, my word. You are you. We have a range of Juan’s works available, all of which have been finished with Murano Glass. Please contact the gallery via email if you would like to have a closer look! www.hollowaygallery.com.au [email protected]
