15.01.2022 Hello Holloways Community Garden supporters, The Holloways Beach Community Garden Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Sunday 6/12/19 at 9:00am at the gardens. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend the meeting.... The AGM gives our members and the committee a broad overview of the organisation's current directions, financial health and confirms our purpose. The current management committee office bearers are: Tanya (Secretary), Cam Haines (Treasurer), Phil (Assistant treasurer) and myself, Cameron Blackley (President) At the AGM all garden members will vote to elect a new committee, comprising a minimum of three office bearers. All current office-bearers will be re-nominating for the coming year. We have additional management/coordination positions available, please consider volunteering for these important rolls: Assistant Secretary, Fund raising coordination, social media and communications person, compost coordinator. I encourage you to consider being part of the management team. If you would like to nominate for any positions please advise via reply email. Being part of the committee is a very rewarding experience, it is an honour and a joy to help coordinate such a valuable community asset. The most important part of the Holloways garden is you, as a member of the garden you are connected to something larger than yourself, you’re part of the story, the Holloways Beach community story. The garden thrives when all members get involved, and that’s where you come in, the garden needs you to be proactive, so please volunteer for various activities when called upon. Your help is the best fertiliser for the garden. The Holloways Beach Community Garden is a constantly growing and vibrant part of our community, the next 12 months promise to be even more prosperous. Hoping to see you at the AGM (please BYO Chair) Kind regards Cameron Blackley III President Holloways Beach Community Garden
