25.01.2022 New financial year, new workshop, new studio monitors. Looking forward to the second half of 2020. 2 way studio monitors, 3rd order Butterworth crossover at 3500Hz. 5" ceramic woofer 1" dual concentric ring radiator tweeter... 5"x 8" passive radiator. 15.01.2022 Personal project: A few months ago I picked up 2 replica Eames chairs built in the mid 90s by an upholsterer in the UK. They were totally trashed. The leather, timber and the metal work all needed to be refurbished. I finished 1 chair in an off white leather (sold) and 1 in a green velvet, that one was for me.... 05.01.2022 Out with the old, in with the new. A client wanted me to modernize this retro pair of sonic speakers. Replaced the old cardboard drivers with a new Dayton audio 7" woofer and 1" ring radiator scan speaker tweeter. The enclosure was ported, heavily modified and braced to support the new components.
