20.01.2022 Yay! Its the start of a new month, a month to be grateful, understanding, willing and passionate. I have recently come across the term "Wabi-Sabi", which means that the unexpected, natural, or imperfect characteristics of an object are what make it special. So for us, constantly striving for perfection is too often at the expense of our happiness, relaxation and enjoyment.... This month I challenge you to step back and smell the flowers, listen to the birds and feel the dirt between your toes. This month I thought it was a good opportunity to talk about working remotely and at home, given the current isolation we have all been experiencing during COVID-19.... Being able to pull myself away from my at-home office and work remotely is such a privilege, that is sometimes taken advantage of. We have such a beautiful country around us, so why shouldnt we be able to pack up our office and take it travelling with us? I always find that when I am out of the office, there are many ways to get distracted, find inspiration or even learn new techniques, but that is strongly relied upon my sense of self-motivation and self-discipline.
