23.01.2022 Day 3 of intense heat, combined with strong winds makes today extremely dangerous. Check on elderly neighbours. With this prolonged heat keep an eye on your stock, particularly calves, cows in calf & older stock. Provide cool water if possible & shade. If you live in a bush fire prone area make a Bush Fire Plan - prioritise. Get children out to safety first. Know what paddock/paddocks livestock can be moved to for safety. If you stay to protect property & stock be prepared. If you can't stay write your phone number on horses/cattle with marker pen/paint. Open gates to allow them to find their own way out. Stay safe

22.01.2022 http://www.scone.com.au/plea-quad-bike-users/ Teach your kids that helmets are just a part of day to day life. Make safety second nature. It's so easy for things to go wrong unexpectedly

22.01.2022 I would have this in my house! #youcantakethegirlfromthedairy

19.01.2022 Best Super Bowl ad ever #sorrynotsorrybudwieser http://theheartful.com/so-god-made-a-farmer-the-super-bowl/

19.01.2022 How is everyone traveling with this dry weather? We are extremely tight on feed & going through lots of rounds at the moment! Running the irrigator & I swear it's greening up already - though our small irrigator is a bit like a toddler, if you don't keep an eye on it, it starts wondering off #farmlife #goirrigatorgo #hueysenditdownready

14.01.2022 Nice night for it

13.01.2022 If, at first, you don't succeed. Use a bigger hammer #nevereasy #farmingonagoodday

10.01.2022 Long weekend challenge! Is it bruises?........ OR Cow poo?......

08.01.2022 So hit a high of 45 today with the same expected for Saturday & Sunday Currently making "ice blocks" for Scotty (the stallion) & Nova (the heifer) ready to help keep their troughs cool. They are the two unlucky ones with poly troughs

07.01.2022 Sorry I've been very quiet! It's been a very busy time here - calvings, shows, scanning plus soooo much computer work to do (which I am currently procrastinating from!)

07.01.2022 An enormous THANK YOU! to the Quirindi Show Cattle committee. They made one little girl extremely happy yesterday when they held a Blonde d'Aquitaine Junior Heifer class - for the one & only blonde entry. Lots of effort went into getting there & the ribbons were well deserved! The look on her face when they were called up was priceless

05.01.2022 Nice to be woken up by the sound of rain on the roof! ......and not just the 2yo crawling into bed

04.01.2022 Always take care when working in confined spaces! Tanks & wells can be extremely dangerous - have a plan in place for situations, don't panic & go in/down yourself. Thinking of their family & community

03.01.2022 I have a soft spot for this guy. Jimmy has a wonderful nature. So easy to do anything with.

02.01.2022 A little less eerie here today thankfully!!

02.01.2022 Good morning! We have had a lot of interest in our bulls lately & so at this point in time we have sold all of our working age & "point of working age" bulls. Thanks!

02.01.2022 Famous last words - I didn't need as much thread tape as I thought
