25.01.2022 Here's this week's story, A House in the Woods! https://youtu.be/TG8R2GCUAZ0

25.01.2022 My latest story is Joseph's Coat. I made the puppets myself using calico, leftover fabric and some ideas I found online. Enjoy!

25.01.2022 I'm nearly booked up for Book Week storytelling! If you're interested in making a booking I still have a few spots, but also have availability for the previous and following week too.

25.01.2022 I performed to a group of kids today ranging from about 5-12. I tried a few of my own stories as well as some folktales. It often surprises me that the stories I thrown in for the littlies often delight the older kids just as much (just don't tell them it's a story for littlies!!)

25.01.2022 One of my favourite folktales, and one I remember hearing as a kid, the Three Billy Goats Gruff.

24.01.2022 This week's story is a Korean folktale, Why the Sea is Salty.

24.01.2022 New YouTube video tomorrow!

23.01.2022 This week's story is about a gecko who can't sleep. Look out for my light up firefly puppet!

22.01.2022 Would you like to try storytelling? Do you have a fascinating personal story but aren't sure how to craft and tell it? Then join Christine Carlton for a workshop on telling personal stories.

21.01.2022 Who're you callin' chicken?

20.01.2022 Run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread man!

20.01.2022 Today I decided I need to make a chicken beanie for next week's new 'chicken' theme. Crochet hooks at the ready!

18.01.2022 I've been asked back to tell more stories in Garema Place next Thursday, 17th October, from 12.30-2pm! Come and join me in your lunch break for a story or two :)

18.01.2022 A busy storytelling day today started with a trip out to Binalong to tell stories at the preschool teddy bear's picnic. Then back to Canberra for stories in Garema Place. Lots of driving, lots of talking and lots of wind blowing branches of trees as I told my stories!

17.01.2022 The ACT Storytellers will be sharing stories for World Storytelling Day at the Botanic Gardens. Bring a picnic blanket or chair and join us.

17.01.2022 This week's story is The Old Woman and the Pig. Very excited that my videos now included a photo animated by NETMEK - Digital Services, I love it!

16.01.2022 This is one of my favourite stories and one of the first ones I learnt, Mr Wiggle and Mr Waggle.

13.01.2022 Great insight here.

12.01.2022 My new storytelling promo by NETMEK - Digital Services!

11.01.2022 This week's story!

11.01.2022 This week's story is one of my favourites to tell. It's about the Baobab (or the Boab) tree. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BLcKuSm9PE&t=1s

11.01.2022 A Kamishibai story today. Kamishibai is a Japanese form of storytelling where, traditionally, the storytelling would set up on city street corners and perform stories with beautiful painted cards displayed in a little wooden stage. They were hugely popular during The Great Depression and entertained hundreds of thousands of children every day in Tokyo.

09.01.2022 I'm very excited to be featured on Just Right Words

09.01.2022 My latest story is a simple draw-and-tell.

09.01.2022 This week's story is the Enormous Turnip, a Russian folktale.

09.01.2022 Over the last few weeks I've been easing back into live storyteller after the lockdown. Telling a story to a live audience is such a privilege: hearing giggles, watching little faces go from worried to relieved and of course the random comments at the end of a session (ie. 'I'm going to my Nanny's house today!').

08.01.2022 This week's story is one I wrote for to use when I tell bedtime stories. My props trolley is always bulging when I tell this one! https://youtu.be/fU4MPRqMGRo

07.01.2022 This week's story is an Aesop's fable, The Lion and the Mouse.

07.01.2022 A draw and tell story about a backyard camping trip.

07.01.2022 I've been telling Halloween stories this week (and starting by reassuring the more timid kids that the stories aren't too scary!).

07.01.2022 What will we find in the kingdom?

06.01.2022 I now have a YouTube channel and here's my first story!

05.01.2022 These Kamishibai storytelling cards arrived today from New York. I can't wait to use them in my storytelling sessions!

05.01.2022 This week's story is Why the Sun and Moon Live in the Sky

04.01.2022 It's still autumn for a few more days, so here's a rhyme about an apple tree! Are your apples smiling, singing or crying?

03.01.2022 The First Nations Bedtime Stories Challenge is a great opportunity to experience Dreaming stories and learn more about our First Nations people.

02.01.2022 This week's story, Nessa and the Fairies, is a re-telling of a Scottish fairy tale.

02.01.2022 The theme for World Storytelling Day today is journeys. Where will your journey take you today? For a walk, to work, from one room to another? We just enjoyed a... walk where we made up our own stories from nursery rhymes. You might like to give it a try: what really happened when Jack and Jill fell down the hill? See more

01.01.2022 Back to work this week. Looking forward to meeting some new audiences and sharing jungle stories!

01.01.2022 This week's story is something a bit different, I'm reading a short story, Contraband, aimed at older kids. This is one I wrote myself and it was published last year in Things That Go Bump the Creative Kids Tales Story Collection 2 compiled by Georgie Donaghey. https://youtu.be/JEnUPKjKYJs

01.01.2022 Arr mateys! Time for a pirate story!
