24.01.2022 Hollywood Under the Stars has been postponed to Friday, 25th October 2019 and Family BBQ and Camp out is rescheduled to Saturday, 2nd November 2019. Watch this space for more details!

22.01.2022 Lapathon Rainbow Run is this Friday 9th August! Let's get bright and colorful to fundraise for our school . Unfortunately, the Lapathon and spectator packs will no longer be a part of the event due to low interest. Any purchases already made will be refunded in full. There will be Icypoles for participants and students are encouraged to bring plenty of water and snacks for the event.... Don't forget to share your Everydayhero page and/or bring in your sponsorship forms before the event. See you there!

18.01.2022 UNIFORM SHOP UPDATE: The new uniform supplier has just informed us that the shorts and skorts will not be ready until the end of next week. This is because of a delay in the arrival of the fabric due to the bush fires. We will have all other orders ready for pickup tomorrow, however it will not include shorts or skorts. Students can still wear the old uniform of red skort and red shorts, otherwise they may wear a pair of their own shorts/skirt etc. We will advise as soon as ...the grey skorts and shorts arrive and arrange a pickup time. 16.01.2022 A quick reminder that entries for Hollywood Under the Stars are due tomorrow Friday 18th Oct. Films should be on a USB and submitted to the school office. Please contact Rhonda or Michael if you have any questions. The event is next Friday 25th Oct and canteen will be open on the night selling, lollybags, popcorn, juice boxes. It's a FREE event so bring your family, friends, neighbors and your picnic blankets!... Hope the first week of term 4 has been going well and everyone is fully settled back to the school routine.

13.01.2022 2019 Band Camp has been a resounding success! A record number of campers enjoyed the Spring weather at the Nanga Bush Camp to practice and perform. This is the 19th year that The Hollywood and Rosalie Community Band have headed to the beautiful bush surrounds to hone their skills. Our thanks to Don, Lindsay and Maddie Blue (BandWest) for their commitment to our students. Thank you to Chris D for keeping the troops fed with her amazing catering skills. Also thanks to the H...ollywood Primary P&C and Rosalie Primary P&C for their contribution to make this event possible. The band are delighted to be performing at the Hollywood Assembly next Friday, 20th of Sept at 2:15. We hope you can come and hear their amazing performance. It is sure to inspire our students to perhaps learn a musical instrument, or to try out for inclusion in the band next year. Audition information will come out in Term 4. Entry to the pool is restricted to key holders. Key holders are able to bring a guest and their family into the pool. One guest and their family for each key holder.... The pool key holders have done a site specific induction which includes safety and rescue techniques. Essential for safety at our pool. Please remember the supervision requirements. If your child can not touch the bottom in all areas of the pool, you need to be in the water with them. You need to be within ‘hollering’ distance of your older children. They need to be close enough to hear you so you are able to stop unsafe behaviour before it happens. There is no jumping or diving into the pool as it is just too shallow. The pool is a lovely facility for our school and the community - we hope you continue to enjoy it, and most importantly stay safe!

Let them get their creative juices flowing and make a film for the 2019 HOLLYWOOD UNDER THE STARS festival coming up on Friday October 25th 2019. 08.01.2022 Happy new year to all our HPS families and friends. We hope you have enjoyed the school holidays and gearing up for resumption on the 3rd of February. The uniform shop will be open next Wednesday 29th January from 9am-12pm and then 1pm-3pm. All online orders will be ready for collection on the day as well as new orders. Uniform shop will be open for usual business 8.15 - 9.00am starting the first Wednesday of term.

07.01.2022 With the 20/21 Hollywood pool season approaching fast, the Pool Committee are looking for input into the most suitable times to hold the inductions. The induction process is a 3-part training session with focus on in-water rescue skills, a general pool information share and a CPR section. Each session takes 1-hour to complete. 04.01.2022 With temperatures set to soar tomorrow, cool off at the Hollywood Pool! The first of our Induction Days run tomorrow morning from 8am-11am.

04.01.2022 Strong rain and wind are forecast for Friday August 30 and athletics events have been rescheduled to Wednesday (Aug 28) and Thursday (Aug 29). Faction Athletics Carnival is now on Thursday and all pre-ordered Lunch will be delivered as planned. The canteen will be open for normal lunch and recess orders on Friday 30 August. We hope as many parents/carers are still able to come cheer our students. Apologies for the inconvenience with rescheduling but hope you understand that students' safety is priority.
