20.01.2022 Hockney Engineers recently had the pleasure and privilege of building and delivering one of our iconic Alcan aluminium trays to Glenn in Tamworth, NSW. Glenn was restoring his beloved WB Holden One Tonner - and of course, as part of the ground-up restoration, he needed an original Alcan Aluminium tray - the same as initially supplied by Holden. We still manufacture the Alcan heavy duty tray, and as such, we were proud to be a part of such a beautiful restoration of an Aussie ...icon. 06.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT: Holmwood Highgate has successfully won a contract to develop and deliver 6 Mobile Bulk Aviation Tankers for the New Zealand Ministry of Defence as part of its Garrison and Training Support (GATS) Project. The design and build phases of the contract will be shared between its Brisbane and Melbourne facilities. The value of the contract is within $5 - $10M NZD and will underpin the Holmwood Highgate core manufacturing teams In Queensland and Victoria during these ...trying COVID impacted times. Delivery will commence in early 2021. The GATS Project covers the NZDF’s domestic operational and training support vehicle fleets. A number of specialist vehicles (such as aircraft refuelling, fire appliances, and medical response vehicles) are scheduled for replacement. These provide critical capabilities within New Zealand either delivering or supporting outputs such as emergency service activities, humanitarian and disaster relief, as well as day to day support to military training and domestic operational needs. We are delighted to be down-selected to support the NZ Crown, and this award reinforces our capability as a Class Leader in Bulk Liquid transport.
