08.01.2022 The Holroyd Christian Ministers Fellowship Special Religious Education Board is continuing to look for a suitable person for the part-time position of Christian SRE coordinator at Greystanes High. The Board has been overseeing the provision of Christian SRE at Greystanes high school for more than 20 years and we are seeking someone who is interested in coordinating a team of volunteers, overseeing the teaching of Christian SRE, liaising with school executive & staff, and nur...turing the faith of young people through a lunchtime group and other connected activities. The successful applicant will require a Working with Children Check, Authority to teach SRE and approval from your church minister. It is also desirable to have prior experience in teaching SRE and in connecting young people into local churches. Greystanes high school is a large school and has been very supportive of SRE for many years. The curriculum being used is approved by Holroyd New Life Church the scope and sequence of the curriculum can be found at: http://www.hnlc.org.au//Summary_HNLC_SRE_High_School_Curri The position will start in term three, depending on government protocols regarding COVID-19. Interviews will take place during term two. The HCMF SRE Board forwards financial support for the position to the coordinators local church so the local church can employ the coordinator in partnership with the Board.
