23.01.2022 Year 12 it’s been a different and difficult year, one you will never forget, lots of adversity and challenges but as a group you have pulled together and got through it all. For all the things you have missed out on there have been things you have gained in terms of gratitude, resilience, and valuing the important things that matter most. Whatever life throws at you remember you will always have friends and family to support you and you are in it together. Be there for each ...other. But most importantly don’t forget to have fun and enjoy the good times. The greatest success in life is love and happiness. Do what makes you happy, do what you love, be amazing, be passionate and keep smiling. We hope you enjoyed your picnic day and it gives you at least one happy memory of Year 12! 22.01.2022 ~~~~~~~~~~YR 12 FORMAL PAYMENT DUE~~~~~~~~~ Just a reminder to Year 12 that you need to pay for your formal ticket by Wednesday 14th October. To secure our booking, a minimum of 40 people is required. You will also need to make sure you pay for the hire of your graduation gown. The graduation will also be held on the 20th November. The formal and graduation at this time is for staff and year 12 students only. All information about formal and graduation was provided to year 12 with their report on the last day of term 3 and also sent home in the mail so please check for details.

14.01.2022 2020 is not the year to get everything we want and we missed not having our parents with us and the entire Holroyd family together but it has taught us to be grateful for all we have. Year 12 you did it and a global pandemic couldn’t stop you! This year 12 will go down in history and 2020 has given us some unforgettable memories. Congrats Year 12!

14.01.2022 Our Intensive English students have been working on a wellbeing project this term making bouquets of origami flowers. Students then passed on their gratitude for all the work the teachers do in our school by gifting them with flowers and thank you notes. Thank you to Mr Adam Fernandes and Ms Suragni Kumar for their wonderful work with this initiative. What a lovely way to end the term and for our staff to feel appreciated for helping our students to bloom and grow! #greatthingshappenatholroyd

13.01.2022 Looking forward to having all staff and students in Years 7-11 return on Monday. Year 12 students are reminded that online tutorials start on Monday for your final HSC preparation. Please follow your timetable and log on to Google Classroom for the link to live tutorials at your normal class time. Attendance will be marked and every minute matters when it comes to your HSC.

03.01.2022 Creative HeARTs Update: Picked up the paints that were kindly donated by Bunnings. Started transferring our designs to our mural boards. External Lights installed by DMS Electrical and preparation of the wall completed. Next week we colour watch this space...

03.01.2022 Creative HeARTs Update: How wonderful it is to see the collaboration and creativity of the Support Unit. Friday is really Friyay! As they apply colour, the magic happens and their mural comes to life. The pictures and the smiles really do tell the story of the positive effect of art. You can feel the calmness and energy in the room and you can see the level of concentration and the focus of students and staff as their brushes carefully apply paint to the canvas. 01.01.2022 Today marks the end of a wonderful career at Holroyd for one of our lovely school administration staff, Sharon Kershaw. There is no one at Holroyd that has not been touched by her warmth and kindness over the years and she has had a profoundly positive impact on the lives of our staff and students. Sharon has been an outstanding asset to the school for the last 20 years and more than that she is a great friend to so many of us and is well and truly part of the Holroyd family. Sharon- on behalf of the Holroyd High School community, thank you for everything that you have done for the staff and students in our school. You will be very genuinely missed but we wish you all the best for a very happy and sunny retirement!

01.01.2022 Learning space design has been a massive focus across our school and we couldn’t be happier with the transformation of our music room. New lighting, paint, technology, laptop lockers, storage, musician/band stand and flexible BFX furniture makes for a quality learning environment!
