22.01.2022 Yesterday the NSW Government announced a significant change of restrictions for Places of Worship. Previously churches had been limited to 100 people in attendance, but churches are now allowed up to 300 people provided they can maintain 4sq metres for each person, and 1.5 metres social distancing. The Greystanes Community Centre remains limited to 56 people based on the 4sq metre rule so unfortunately the government’s announcement does not affect our Sunday services. It is important to note though that no additional restrictions have been changed at this stage. For example attendance sheets must still be kept, face-masks are still encouraged, singing is still not allowed by congregational members, and if anyone is feeling unwell then you need to stay at home.

13.01.2022 At Holroyd New Life Church we continue to welcome members and visitors to our Sunday services. In order to comply with government regulations and to care for those attending our services, the following protocols continue to remain in place until further notice: Please do not attend our services or meetings if you have any cold or flu symptoms; OR if you have come into contact with an untested/suspected or a positive COVID-19 case within the last 14 days; OR if you have retu...rned from overseas or Victoria within the last 14 days. For contract-tracing purposes an attendance roll will be taken on entry. Any visitors will be asked to provide their names and contact details. Based on the 4m square rule per person, Cumberland Council have advised that we may have a maximum of 56 people in the upstairs main hall. Our greeters will be keeping a tally of arrivals and will ensure no more than 56 people attend our Sunday services at any one time. NSW Health recommend that face-masks are worn in some indoor settings including places of worship. Disposable face-masks will be provided on arrival for those who want to use them. Upon arrival please move through the foyer and remain seated as much as is practical. Tables and chairs will be set up ‘café-style’ to allow everyone to remain seated and to allow for physical distancing. Physical distancing of 1.5metres is encouraged for those not from the same household. Group singing is currently not allowed. Musical items or recorded music may be played for us to listen to. Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the hall on each table, the greeters table, the drinks table and near the pulpit. Please use sanitiser on arrival and before eating or drinking. Morning tea will be prepared and served by volunteers wearing gloves & using tongs. Communion will be prepared and served by volunteers who have hand-sanitised and are wearing gloves. The offering bags will be walked around by volunteers who have used hand-sanitiser, instead of being passed around. Those counting the giving each week from the offering bags and giving box will also be asked to wear gloves. The boxes of toys, Bibles and library will not be put out for common use. All high-touch surfaces such as door handles and light switches will be cleaned before each service. Our Sunday services will be streamed on an unlisted YouTube link for those unable to attend our services at the Greystanes Community Centre. The link for each service will be posted on our WhatsApp HNLC updates group just before each service begins. God bless from the HNLC leadership team. See more

12.01.2022 The women enjoyed sunshine, fellowship, encouragement and much laughter during a relaxing weekend away together at Mulgoa.

11.01.2022 NSW Health now recommend that face-masks are worn in some indoor settings including places of worship. We warmly welcome up to 56 people per Sunday service and leave the choice of whether or not to wear a face-mask with each person who attends. The following protocols continue to remain in place until further notice: Please do not attend our services or meetings if you have any cold or flu symptoms; OR if you have come into contact with an untested/suspected or a positive C...OVID-19 case within the last 14 days; OR if you have returned from overseas or Victoria within the last 14 days. For contract-tracing purposes an attendance roll will be taken on entry. Any visitors will be asked to provide their names and contact details. These rolls will be kept for 30 days and then destroyed. Based on the 4m square rule per person, Cumberland Council have advised that we may have a maximum of 56 people in the upstairs main hall. Our greeters will be keeping a tally of arrivals and will ask any arrivals past 56 people to return home and join us online.
