25.01.2022 Isle of Wight Farm had a very busy day on Tuesday! They took part in the 2017 Assessment Tour in conjunction with Trakehners Australia Inc, the Australian Sports Pony Registry and the Holsteiner Horse Association of Australia. Isle of Wight Farm received great feedback from renowned visiting Classifier and FN Judge, Matthias Werner (Germany). Isle of Wight presented 4 quality Holsteiner stallions of whom Matthias said very well natured stallions with high quality of movement... and ability to jump. David was thrilled with the high scoring of the stallions and very proud to have them branded by Matthias with the Holsteiner Horse Association of Australia brand. The stallions were: Isle of Ascot Holsteiner (Sire; Magnetic Isle, Dam: Isle of Artiste, Dam Sire: Grand Flaneur) Isle of Aintree Holsteiner (Sire: Magnetic Isle, Dam: Allegra, Dam Sire: Lander (Imp)) Isle of Lamborghini Holsteiner (Sire: Isle of Aspen, Dam: Isle of Lintel, Dam Sire: Grande Isle) Somerset DIsle Holsteiner (Sire: Diarado, Dam: Stella, Dam Sire: Balou du Rouet). 3 Isle of Wight bred mares, Isle of Africa, Isle of Marlo and Isle of New Norfolk were displayed by and on behalf of their owners and all scored their way into the high studbook with one becoming premium. One quality yearling filly by Chameur from a mare by Isle of Aspen was also presented by owner/breeder Chantelle Damaschke. Congratulations to all of the Holsteiner Horse Association of Australia members from the breadth of the country who also successfully took part in the tour at other venues in various states. Isle of Wight Farm would like to take this opportunity to thank Tanya Hosford and the committee of Trakehners Australia Inc and the committee of the Australian Sports Pony Registry and Holsteiner Horse Association of Australia including registrar Narelle Parker for their assistance to make this fabulous tour happen throughout Australia. They look forward to participating in the 2018 classification tour. Thanks also to all of those who helped out at the farm leading up to and on the day. Although we a...re happily introducing a number of new stallions this season - dont forget the proven performers; Isle of Aspen and Magnetic Isle! Both of these stallions continue to produce exceptional horses and have many progeny out competing successfully in all three Olympic disciplines. ISLE OF ASPEN Rocadero, Lander (Imp) Lorenz, Lady Killer (XX) Isle of Aspen is a special stallion by Rocadero (Imp) who was the Champion of his licensing in Germany and from the foundation mare Allegra, who is by Lander. 10.01.2022 Fabulous finish to the Melbourne Royal yesterday for Carrado MVNZ finishing 8th in the World Cup Qualifier. This was only his third start at this level and he j...umped super finishing with 8 faults over two rounds.
