For th...ose not making the trip to Tassie you can follow or participate in the sale via Flanagan Marketing Services live Facebook broadcast from 11am AEDT. Panatana’s Ian Hortle has prided himself on being able to decipher his own breeding decisions and has developed a quality uddered, angular herd that display power and strength consistently throughout. Only the best AI sires have been used for over 40 years resulting in the outstanding deep pedigreed cows that carry the Panatana prefix with longevity and fertility ingrained in them. Today’s sale features females from some high profile Tasmanian herds - Lilibets, Maids and Rosebuds from Calthorpe. The Lilibets in particular have many outstanding females on offer today with Calthorpe FN Lilibet 6, Star Brood Cow, featuring in many pedigrees. Also the renowned Fairvale herd of Ross and Leanne Dobson have provided quality members from their Melody family. A member of this family, Fairvale Goldchip Melody 770, was Senior Champion at 2019 IDW. The Melodys feature in the Panatana herd today including some Red and White members. There are also members of the Fairvale Bonnie Family on offer. Athol and Avalyn Kaine’s famous Shamrock family also have members selling whilst the outstanding 3 Star Brood Cow, Blink Bonnie Roxy Lorraine, bred by Ross and Glenda Jones, has bred on wonderfully well.
