25.01.2022 Kindy 2021 students recently attended the school for their orientation program. We are looking forward to having the new children start at the school in 2021...

20.01.2022 HFS has a strong connection to our Cathedral Parish. Fr Joshy is our Chaplain and he is a regular visitor to the school. Presently, our students can receive the following Sacraments: YEAR 2 (Penance), YEAR 3 (First Communion), & YEAR 6 (Confirmation). Parents need to contact the Presbytery (63313066) to make arrangements for Sacrament reception. We encourage parent follow up.

20.01.2022 3MC had lots of fun with their $20 play money buying books from the Book Club magazines! A great mathematical exercise to practice budgeting and maths!

19.01.2022 NAIDOC Week across the school & class based activities continue at HFS. We have a NAIDOC student display in the office foyer. Our Aboriginal Education Worker is also hosting NAIDOC activities in the Library during lunch times...

15.01.2022 HFS Year 6 students planned, set up & ran a Mini Fete on Friday! Over different time slots, classes participated in the activities & fun for the cost of a gold coin. Our funds raised are supporting Bronte O'Brien's cancer research fundraiser.

09.01.2022 HFS promotes Pope Francis' 'Laudato si', an invitation to care for the environment & be environmentally aware. Our Year 4 students have established a veggie garden which shows Laudato si in action. At HFS, we say GREEN SCHOOL!

01.01.2022 Congratulations to the Year 5 students who have planned & delivered 2021 School Captain preliminary speeches to all students in Year 5. Great reflections evident in the speeches.
