25.01.2022 This week were talking about our very popular True Blue Estate Merlot. Merlot has been grown in the Swan Valley for decades as it loves our hot dry summers. It is a soft, smooth wine, great for new red wine drinkers. Our Merlot is a medium bodied wine with plum and blackberry flavours. It has soft tannins and has been matured in French oak. While weve been having fun at the markets crushing grapes the old fashioned way (with our feet ) we really use a machine called a destemmer-crusher. The juice is only allowed to stay in contact with the skins for a short period of time to give it the beautiful rose colour. Our Rose smells like strawberries and cherries.
