THE CHIEF HEALTH OFFICER HAS DECLARED A LOCKDOWN FOR 3 DAYS - RESIDENTS MUST STAY AT HOME IN BRISBANE, LOGAN, IPSWICH, MORETON BAY AND REDLANDS LOCKDOWN WILL COMMENCE AT 5PM TODAY. VENUES SPREAD FROM GLADSTONE TO BYRON BAY.... LOCKDOWN TO BE REVIEWED ON WEDNESDAY EVENING 31 March. SCHOOLS TO CLOSE AT THE END OF TODAY. 22.01.2022 Weekly Sunday Services Commencing 21 June we will now have a weekly 7am and 9am service in the church on a Sunday with a maximum of 20 people at each. 17.01.2022 At Monday Nights Bible study, I was reminded of a song by one of my family's all time gospel faves, Ron Kenoly - The Battle is the Lord's, Composed around the scripture of 2 Chronicles 20:1-30. In studying the fruit of the Spirit, our topic was Faithfulness. In this song he sings of having faith in God, when faced by major adversities. - "He said lift up a song and lay down the sword, For the battle is mine said the Lord!"

There will be no need to be invited or register every week for worship anymore, just come along to the Church of the Holy Spirit at 7am or 9am on Sundays. 09.01.2022 Congratulations to Nia Vivian on being commissioned as the Lay Chaplain for the Anglican Canterbury College in Waterford. Bishop John preached a message on the Transfiguration. There was plenty of support from her family, Canterbury College and the larger community with the Reverend Jane, Rhonda, and Kerry representing the Church of the Holy Spirit.
