04.01.2022 While many people have become vulnerable since the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot forget that millions were already vulnerable before this. 3.24 million Australians lived below the poverty line before the COVID-19 crisis. Those people already vulnerable, combined with the newly unemployed means more people are at risk of experiencing poverty. Each year St Vinnies provides shelter, food, clothing, financial support, friendship and care for thousands of people in NSW. Now more th...an ever is the time for us to come together to support those in need. Here at Holy Spirit we will be donating various clothing items starting tomorrow, Thursday 25th June. Students and teachers will be able to wear an item of clothing such as: a beanie, socks, gloves or a scarf tomorrow. They are to bring a new piece of clothing to donate. This will be collected at the front gates by the SRC. For example, If you wear a beanie then you will donate a beanie, if you wear socks then you will donate socks. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support. #stvincentdepaul #winterappeal #stvincentdepaulsociety See more
