24.01.2022 We said farewell to our year 6 class of 2020 tonight. A mixture of emotions were on display this evening from students and staff - we felt proud, sad, happy, nervous and excited as we wished this cohort of special people the very best and said goodbye! The formal elements to the evening such as speeches, powerpoints and the capturing of 7 years of memories will be made available to the year 6 families. Special thanks to the teachers and staff for all their efforts to make the night special and memorable. Thanks also to the year 6 families for your partnership over the 7 years - they made it!

23.01.2022 Our 3/4 classes have been focusing on the Health Care workers in our community and spreading HOPE this Christmas by sending posters and cards of thanks. Ms Rae's class sent a poster to Baxter 5(COVID ward) @ Geelong Hospital, where Erin's (Year 3AR) and Marcus's (5/6BB) Mum Tash works. They were very excited and proud to receive the following email and photos. Hi Andrea,... Many thanks for allowing the 3AR class to do posters for our ward on Baxter 5(COVID ward) @ Geelong Hospital. The staff were very touched by your thoughtfulness and greatly appreciated the posters! They are taking pride of place in our staffroom. I have added a couple of photos. Many thanks once again Natasha Reid and all the staff on Baxter 5

21.01.2022 On the 23rd of February the I Sea I Care ambassadors went to the Queenscliff Marina with St Mary's Primary. We met a lady named Mandy and all her crew members who are in charge of the Moonraker Dolphin Swim program. Before getting on the boat we were fitted with wetsuits and snorkels and we saw a seal swimming around. We called him Bazza. At the first location, we stopped at we snorkeled and saw lots of different fish and four seals. The water was clear and the seals even joi...ned us when we were snorkeling. At the second location, there were around 40 seals. Most of them were sleeping but some were moving around. Seals can sleep for up to 20 hours. We headed back to the Marina where Mandy showed us a collection of bottle caps that we handed in to be recycled. The bottle caps can be turned into reusable items such as clipboards, magnets, and rubbish bins. We had an awesome time and have already begun talking about ways in which we can help our environment in the future. By Saya and Lily.
20.01.2022 Sacraments Update As you are aware, the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic has prevented us from gathering in the church for the celebrations of First Eucharist and for Confirmation. The recent lift of restrictions to the Third Step - Coronavirus Road to Recovery remains as follows:... religion - outdoor religious gatherings for up to 10 people plus a faith leader, places of worship open for private worship for households or social bubbles, plus a faith leader. Therefore at this stage, it is not possible for us to plan and inform you of specific dates of when these will occur. We will inform you of any changes and when the reception of Sacraments is likely to take place as soon as we are able. Have a great holiday

14.01.2022 On Holy Thursday, Jesus shared his last meal with his disciples. He knew it would be his last meal. Jesus was going to die. That was God's plan for him. After the Last Supper, Jesus went to a special garden to pray. While he was there, some soldiers came. They arrested Jesus. The next day was Good Friday. On Good Friday, Jesus was put to death. Jesus died on the cross. This week our Prep children re-enacted The Last Supper.
