What is one of your hidden talents? My creativity- I can sew, crochet and knit and do calligraphy. ~ What is the craziest thing you have ever done? When my children were 6 & 4 we decided to move to Spain for a year. ~ What does your typical Sunday look like? I love to go on long drives exploring the countryside. I leave early in the morning and return late that night. ~ What would the students be surprised to find out about you? I grew up in Zimbabwe. ~ What is your dream holiday? I canoed 45km across open waters from Tea Gardens to Bulahdelah. ~ What is your favourite book? Wonder by R. J. Palacio - I have lost count of how many times I have read this book. ~ What does your typical Sunday look like? You can always find me exploring one of Sydney's beautiful beaches with a coffee in hand. ~ What would the students be surprised to find out about you? 23.01.2022 http:// VINNIE'S HAMPER CHRISTMAS APPEAL 35 hampers are ready for delivery to the St Vincent de Paul in the Gosford and Wyong areas for individuals and families in need along with $500 in gift cards which will be given with the hampers so that families could purchase their own choice of a perishable item like ham etc. On Christmas Day we hope the people who are receiving these gifts from us feel the love in the hampers just like the way in which we enjoy our presents every year ...on Christmas Day. A big thank you to Mrs Overton & Year 6 for a wonderful effort with their cake stall which raised $840 to buy items for hampers, Mrs Hogan for the planning and support, for parent volunteers who organise bags of donations and lastly, parents for your donations and supporting your child and our wonderful school. If you give food to the hungry and satisfy those who are in need, then the darkness around you will turn to the brightness of midday. The children enjoyed meeting their teachers as well as Year 6 school buddies as they will spend the entire 2021 year paired up with their buddies who will take special care of the younger children as they settle into school life. 05.01.2022 http://Leadership Camp - Year 6 The Year 6 Camp was once again a great success with students having a wonderful time at Sport and Recreation in Narrabeen. Three action-packed, fun-filled camp days, where we stayed in cabins and participated in all challenges and activities modelling the 7 Habits beautifully. Canoeing, stand up paddleboards, archery, puzzle/escape room, raft building, and lots more. The leadership camp program is a great way to help students learn about the qua...lities of being a leader as well as boost confidence, resilience and responsibility. A great time was had by all and students' attitudes and leadership were outstanding. So much to experience and explore, from bottle feeding a baby goat, cuddling baby chicks, fluffy duckling and baby rabbits, milking a dairy cow...to feeding over 100 of farm pets.
