20.01.2022 Catholic Parishes (and indeed all places of worship) are more than just places of prayer and worship but are essential centers of human connection for our community. Places where the young, the old, and everyone in between gather and are encouraged and experience crucial human connection essential for our flourishing. This is particularly so for those who live alone or who are isolated and already vulnerable. It is time that our Churches be permitted to reopen safely so that... this vital work can continue. I encourage you to take some time to email or call our local member Mr. Matthew Fregon MP. Now is the time to share with him how important your local faith community is to you, and ask him to stand up for his constituents who are most in need of social connection at this time.
