12.01.2022 As per State Government regulations that will come into effect from midnight tonight, our store will be closed for the foreseeable future. Mitre 10 is working on a possible trading exemption as we believe there are times when we are considered essential. For now though, we must abide with the new laws In saying that, we will be open for later trading tonight, with the current closing time set at 7pm. 09.01.2022 Tony had shown some real signs of improvement this week, branching out into a few new areas, growing another 5cm to now sit at over 45cm tall and that tiny tomato you saw only a couple of weeks ago is now a huge, nearly ripe, delicious looking fruit! He’s also grown a few new flowers, so as long as the bees aren’t in lockdown as well, he should hopefully receive some pollination and start work on a few more projects

04.01.2022 Hi everyone, after a day of confusion and mixed messages the reality of the situation for a hardware store is that we can only sell emergency products for emergency situations. This is for example a joiner for a broken water pipe, unfortunately not a can of paint or a bag of potting mix etc. At this stage I’ve made the decision that we will be not be opening for the duration of the lockdown but will keep everyone updated if the situation changes.
