16.01.2022 Reconciliation is a journey for all Australians as individuals, families, communities, organisations and importantly as a nation. At the heart of this journey are relationships between the broader Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We all have a role to play when it comes to reconciliation, and in playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and futures.

08.01.2022 2020 has been a year of multiple challenges for so many community members. Homebase Youth Services are having their annual Christmas Food and Toy Drive. Christmas is just around the corner, but Homebase Youth Services are asking Forster, Taree and Tuncurry businesses to assist with donating non-perishable food items and small toys for the less fortunate, as part of their annual Christmas food and toy drive. Homebase Youth and Aboriginal Services in Tuncurry have traditionally... held the Christmas food and toy drive to support clients who are doing it tough. Most people assisted by the service are young families struggling to get by each day. Individuals, businesses and community groups can donate food, small toys and toiletries, especially such things such as tinned food, pasta, rice, toilet paper, nappies, small toys and other provisions. Donations can be dropped into the Homebase Youth and Aboriginal Services office, which is located at Level 1 Bridgepoint Building, 1 Manning Street, Tuncurry. Alternatively, a pickup service can be arranged by calling Homebase on (02) 6555 5622. Drop off point two is Taree! You can find us in Taree at 7-12 Valley Fair, 102-128 Victoria St, Taree NSW 2430 Kind Regards, Homebase Team
