20.01.2022 How simple and sweet!! This couple decided on a Stayz property with two of their best friends, and family watched live streaming. Keep it small, why make it big? This wedding was pulled together in a month. It was perfect! ... I had front seat view of their first dance as husband and wife. They were so in love, like no one else was there. Two love birds are ready to start their lives together as husband and wife.

09.01.2022 Have you ever considered an evening wedding? OMG, the best option for an easy, casual event that has a great impact in terms of atmosphere. From 4.30pm onwards, the lighting was magical and her photography has turned out a dream. Not like mine...lol... I need a new phone. But you get the gist of it. This couple decided on a backyard wedding. Firepit, magical fairy lights, platter board, and five guests... that's it. You heard it right, five guests in total. keeping it s...imple and to the people who matter most. They ordered from their favorite restaurants with food to die for. SO EASY!! SO SIMPLE... and the bride was so comfortable, she didn't even wear her shoes. (until it got cold!) But that's not all. This bride has been one of the most savy brides I've come across. She was able to find everything to create the ceremony space from loaning items from friends and neighbors, Council throw out's, and DIY activities with her daughter. She even made her own cake, double-layered sponge with meringue and fresh flowers on the top. The whole ceremony space cost her no more than $100. This wedding was truly an inspiration and looking forward to using some of the photography on my website soon. Love my clients who are creating memorable events at home. Love...Love...Love it.

07.01.2022 Three events in one!!! A milestone birthday, New Year's Eve and then a wedding! Have you ever thought about blowing your guests minds with a surprise wedding? Well this couple did. I was officating the ceremony for 10 minutes until the look of shock finally turned into tears of joy for this beautiful couple standing before them. ... All invited guests were so happy. I bet some maybe wished they made the effort! The people who mattered most were there, and that's what the couple wanted. It was a delight! Absolutely no frills and fluff, just a huge surprise! Awesome!!

02.01.2022 A wedding at John Hunter Hospital. I didn't realise I was heading there today. The last wish for the father of the bride, his only child, was to see her marry. It was a complete honour to be part of today. And now one more wonderful memory and experience in my life as a Celebrant. ... I fought back my tears, pausing a few times so I didn't sob, or feel my heart burst all as the couple stood strong through the ceremony and their vows. All the while Dad gave away his little girl to the man she loves. The wonderful nurses did everything the could to make this work. Even a bed sheet tablecloth and a borrowed flower vase from reception. After the wedding ceremony at the hospital we then went back home to enjoy a simple celebration ceremony where their guests where waiting. My Home Brand Weddings are far from expensive, far from lavish, but a wedding with heart, right at home.
