23.01.2022 Sometimes beach walking can be quite hard. Today was meant to be an easy day, but with a strong southerly blowing and a big swell, the rating for the walk ratch...eted up a notch or two. It was a great day though, walking from Minnie Waters to Wooli. We even saw sea turtles in the surf near Diggers Camp. See more

13.01.2022 I'm not always as great at writing letters to politicians as i want to be. So I'm trying writing them songs instead. I give you, 'The Unselfish Selfish Son...g (or let's not kill all the koalas hey?)'. So, dear every member of the NSW Legislative Council (and everyone else, why not, we all like being alive), this is for you in the lead up to your vote on Nov 11. (EDIT, the vote has been delayed, but could come back on any time soon). Sincerely, Rose (who in addition to liking koalas also likes being alive on a complex-life supporting planet). "And a roaring woodchip trade, won't keep the blues away, Rather it'll speed up the decay of not just koalas but the whole human race, But it turns out that quite conveniently that, To care about koalas, and to care about the trees to care about the forests and biodiversity, To care about community and intact ecologies, is the same thing as caring about all humanity, is the same things as me caring about me."
