22.01.2022 Another crazy week. - Working towards taking over a stall at The Sunset Markets each Friday night, providing fresh organic or pesticide free fruit and vegetable...s from the farms surrounding Ipswich - with an aim to providing some of my raw dishes and some premade frozen meals to pick up on your way home! - The meal for the People of the Street of Ipswich on Sunday afternoon is coming together. The amount of volunteers and assistance received in so many different ways is phenomenal and I cannot thank you all enough! Food, music, laughter - time without a care in the world for all. Amazing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Menu for next week: Raw (can be eaten by all "diets"): * Raw pad thai * Raw lasagne * Raw taco salad * Raw sushi * Cucumber, tomato and onion salad * Green salad Vegetarian (suitable for all 'diets' except raw vegan): * Vegetable pie * Mushroom risotto (suitable for vegan) * Pumpkin risotto (suitable for vegan) Paleo (can be eaten by non vegans and non vegetarians): * Shepherds pie * Spicy prawn skewers with steamed vegetables * Prawns with beetroot and pumpkin salad * Zoodles with bolognaise * Cauliflower fried rice 'Traditional': * Creamy tuna bake * Basic enchiladas * Lasagne * Salmon, cream cheese and spinach filo (tomato optional ing) Other: * Cheezecakes (contains nuts) (RAW) $25 for large, $4 per individual: - Strawberry - Blueberry - Mint * Chocolate peanut butter cream pie (contains nuts) (RAW) $25 for large, $4 per individual * Chocolate $1.50/piece (refined sugar, dairy and gluten free) Please have orders in by 10am, Monday morning. Deliveries are made on Thursday afternoon or pick up from Silkstone between 5 and 6pm. Fees for Ipswich are $5, fees will increase the further away you are. Meals are $10 for individual serves and $30 for family serves. If you are on the Sunshine or Gold Coasts or Northside Brisbane, please don't hesitate, if there are a few people interested I will deliver there.

21.01.2022 Hey Foodies, Deb still here. I just wanted to clarify where we are with things. We have found the fantastic Ms Tamara Sykes of Perfectly Yum and Syko Balls to carry on HH's fine work at The Sunset Markets. Unfortunately, in the meantime we are withdrawing from Robelle Domain Market unless we can find someone to jump on that opportunity. We are yet to finalise whether our name and this page will carry over. Tomorrow and every Friday is business as usual for the market, we will be showing Tamara the ropes and introducing her to all our lovely regulars until Christmas. Tamara is also bringing her prodigous 'uncooking' talent to the table with tomorrow's event "Dreaming of a Raw Christmas" food demonstration in D'arcy Doyle Place at 6pm.

09.01.2022 Its with much regret I have to let you all know Homegrown Harvest are out of action this weekend. It's not like me to let any one thing get in my way but the odds have been stacked quite high and so we are retreating and regrouping, ready to get back in the saddle bigger and better next Friday night at The Sunset Markets and next Saturday morning at Robelle Domain Parklands, Springfield. 08.01.2022 We have true free range eggs (300 chickens on 100 acres); Organic kale, avocados; marrows (extra large zucchini), lemons, butter beans, apple cucumbers; raw unp...rocessed local honey; Local pesticide free plums, mushrooms, heirloom roma tomatoes, tomatoes, rockmelon, pumpkin. Plus the meals and cheezecakes. Just in case you were wondering :-)

08.01.2022 We would like to advise all our wonderful fans that for the foreseeable future Homegrown Harvest has ceased trading. We are in negotiations with possible new produce stall holders for The Sunset Markets and Robelle Domain Market and will do everything we can to ensure Ipswich continues to have direct access to the wonderful bounty our local farmers have to offer. We are deeply committed to make sure our region's food future is fresh, local and sustainable but at this time believe family commitments must come first. Personally I can't begin to tell you how much it means to me to have met so many lovely people in our town and gained your support for my business and our farmers. Tomorrow afternoon after 4pm, come fill a basket f...or $40 - see the large one with the handle? Please bring your own bag to put the fruit and vegetables into.
