18.01.2022 Albuca spiralis 'Frizzle Sizzle'. A crowd favourite for sure! These cool plants have a summer dormancy where they loose their leaves and should be allowed to dry out from the beginning of summer to the end of summer. Leaves appear in early Autumn through till Spring. Water thoroughly during the cooler months and strong sunlight in needed to produce the tight coiled leaves these guys are $24.95 and have just been re-stocked

15.01.2022 Check out some of our beautiful Paphiopedilum orchids currently in bloom from our collection. Also know as 'The Slipper Orchid' due to their slipper shaped pouches, which are modified labella (lips) that are designed to trap insects inside which are then forced to climb up and out of to collect or deposit pollen.

11.01.2022 Albuca spiralis 'Frizzle Sizzle' restocked! This plant grows from a bulb just below the surface. Leaves appear in early autumn through till the next spring when they should be allowed to dry out to being a summer dormancy. Tall upright flower spikes spear in late autumn and produce large green flowers for up to 2 to 3 months. Which are almost orchid like! Water well throughout the cooler months, plants should be aloud to dry out from early summer to the end of summer with only occasional watering, this will allow the leaves to die off and the plant to rest. Strong sun is needed to produce the tight compact Curley foliage! This plant will do better out doors with full sun to part shade or any bright well lit area indoors.
