18.01.2022 Ive been looking after my Mumma and making sure she gets a nutritious meal every day. Dementia is a terrible disease but we battle it together. There are good days and there are shit days. Theres a lot of focus on making sure kids eat right but its just as important, if not more, that we make sure our old folks have access to good fresh food. Its not a cure but I see a huge difference in my Mums cognition and overall wellbeing when she eats well. Something to ponder for me this new year on what change I can bring for our elders and the most vulnerable.

17.01.2022 I had the great pleasure of hearing the business dreams of some amazing women who have been supported, encouraged and been given hope from Canberras Global Sisters. These inspiring women have overcome so much to be where they are today. Most of the pitches were about starting their own food business and sharing their culture, cooking but most of all, their love for food. Stay tuned in the New Year!! Theres going to be some exciting collaboration and partnerships between Homegrown Me and Global Sisters!!
