21.01.2022 ANNOUNCING the Huon Valley Art and Wine Trail. Spring has sprung and the Artists and Makers of the Huon Valley have joined forces with two local wineries to wel...come visitors to the Huon Valley just in time for the Holidays. This year we are teaming up with two of the Huon Valleys premium wine makers and flinging open the actual doors to our studios and cellar doors for tastings. Mark your calendars now and start planning your stops on this not to be missed weekend in the Huon Valley. This will be a rare opportunity to visit some of the secret studios hidden away in the valley and visit the artists in their creative environments. A chance to talk to them about what inspires their work and buy special pieces direct from the artist. Over three days, December 4-6, 2020 the cellar doors of the wineries and 8 participating art studios will be open from 10am to 4:00 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There will be maps with studio locations available at each location. Or you can visit our web page with an interactive map and participating artist information. Each of the participating business has implemented a COVID-19 safety plan so you can travel around and visit with health confidence. The artists and wineries are putting together two fabulous prizes comprised of a mixture of art works, vouchers, and wine. There will be an opportunity to fill out an entry form for the draw at each participating studio. The draw will take place on Monday December 7th at the Huon News in Franklin, Tasmania. You must be 18 years old to enter the Draw. Participating wineries and artists include: Kate Hill Wines, Home Hill Winery, Lisa Britzman Campo De Flori, Ross Patston-Gill at Mikkris House, Brain Looker , Henrietta Manning, Bronwyn Clarke Ceramics, Lysbeth Driessen Art, Phoenix Creations (Artist-David Rauenbusch) and The Art of Richard Stanley . 20.01.2022 Weve done it... Home Hill has officially taken out the following four awards for the third year in a row at the Australian & New Zealand Boutique Wine Show in Sydney last night! - Best Red Wine of Show - Wine of the Show - Top Trophy Winner ... - Estate Grown & Produced Trophy To win these trophies with the 2018 Kellys Reserve Pinot Noir (previously won with the 2017 & 2016 vintages) is nothing short of a dream come true for the HH team. A huge thank you to our crew who work incredibly hard every vintage to make some of the best cool climate wines Tassie has to offer, including our winemakers Gillie and Paul. Pictured here are Rosemary and Kelly Bennett with the trophys.

20.01.2022 * RESTAURANT AND CELLAR DOOR CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS * Unfortunately due to the current restrictions in place surrounding restaurants during the coronavirus pandemic, we are closed for lunch and wine tastings until further notice. ** Luckily, you can however still order our award-winning wines from the website by visiting www.homehillwines.com.au **... We will keep you updated as the pandemic continues and hope that we can re-open our doors as soon as possible. Our thoughts are with all of the fellow businesses and wineries both in the Huon Valley and throughout Tasmania who are also impacted by these changes. We are all in this together! The HH team. x

20.01.2022 From Rosemary, Terry and all of the staff at Home Hill, we wish you a safe and Merry Christmas. xo

20.01.2022 Were excited to be planting a hectare of Pinot Gris vines in the new vineyard over the coming weeks. This year we launched our first vintage of the Pinot Gris and it sold out very fast due to low quantities of the two rows of vines we had grown. The new hectare of this variety will ensure that Home Hill can produce greater quantities of this popular style of wine in the future. Exciting times ahead!

19.01.2022 White Pinot Noir offer... buy one, get one free! Single bottle - $25 The White Pinot Noir was a result of the smoke tainted grapes due to the bushfires in the Huon Valley last year. Our winemakers gently pressed the fruit and treated it like a white wine to minimise the affect of the smoke on the Pinot grapes. Richer than other white wines, this drop is refreshing and rare! ... To order, call HH on 6264 1200 or email [email protected]
