25.01.2022 This was the original bathroom

25.01.2022 It has been a very hectic couple of weeks for our resident handyman with a limited time frame and a couple of monster jobs to complete. The property below was one of these projects and needed some serious TLC to be put back together again and who could be better for the job! New wall sheeting was installed and plastered then a new lick of paint to the walls gave this property a new lease on life.... Good job Shane!

24.01.2022 This front door had seen better days with the stain faded, worn and weathered. With some light sanding and a lick of white paint, it has come up looking fabulous and is now an inviting entry into the home.

24.01.2022 Our lovely friends employed Shane to paint their media room and give their barn door a new lick of paint. It always seems a bit daunting when painting really dark colours on walls but boy, did this room come up a treat. The moody tone of the walls and the contrast of the white make this media room a winner. I particularly love the bold colour on the barn door Donna chose, I think it's fabulous!

24.01.2022 Thank you to you all for your support throughout the year. It has been a tough one for many and lucky for us we have fabulous clients that kept us going through Covid and then held on tight and waited for Shane's return to work after his 3 month recovery from injury. For this we are truely greatful. Next year is going to be a cracker for us all! It's now time to enjoy our family and friends and take the load off a little with a few cold beverages and some well earned R & R.... Merry Christmas from us XO

23.01.2022 This job was a few hands on deck! Over grown trees, grass up to your waste and a back yard full of rubbish...... time for the 'A Team'! All trees were cut down to a decent height, all grass was whipper snipped, edged then mowed 3 times over.... so much grass to pick up! All rubbish removed and several trips to the dump later, you get a very rewarding outcome!

23.01.2022 It seems we have reached a little social media milestone..... 100 LIKES! It has been 19 months since we started our property maintenance business and we have never looked back! Thank you to all of you who have liked, shared and supported our page and our business. We appreciate the love and will continue to provide a great service to those who need us.

22.01.2022 A couple of make safe roofing jobs this week for us while tenants wait for their roofs to be fixed. Big tarps, sand bags, ropes and steel pegs used. Helps to be a camper! Look at that sky, who would have thought we just had a week of rain!

20.01.2022 This linen/ storage cupboard had seen better days with water damage from a dripping air-conditioner. Shane made up 2 x new white board units and fitted them into the cupboard cavities and rehung the existing doors.

20.01.2022 Mulching is an inexpensive way to spruce up garden beds and improve the street appeal of a property. Not only does it look good but it's a great product to keep the moisture in the soil for your plants and trees, something we would recommend in our hot & dry climate. In this garden we used Tea Tree mulch, it's a great colour and it smells nice too!

19.01.2022 Bathroom reno update..... Shane is water proofing the shower area then is onto laying the bedding for the tiles. The bathroom is starting to take shape now and with this being done you can start to picture how the room is going to look. ... It's great when a plan comes together!

18.01.2022 This front porch area needed it's railings re-fitted as it was feeling a bit naked The back fence had some palings replaced and can only pray for a paint job to make it look 100%.

16.01.2022 Now for the laundry reno update..... A few weeks ago I posted a couple before photos of our laundry. Well it is completed now and what you see below is the final product. It is now a functional space with everything you need in a laundry and it looks great too. Nailed it! ... Well done Shane, you really are great at what you do! What do they say..... happy wife happy life! NB. Not an easy room to take photos of..... awkward!

15.01.2022 So here it is, our bathroom has been finished and looks amazing! Well done to Shane for this awesome transformation, his tireless hard work is always appreciated and seeing the final product makes it all worth it. 15.01.2022 Today is mould removal day! Argh! This is a time consuming job that is a bit smelly but the end result is always a good one. The pics show mould on the downstairs ceiling of this property and once removed, it looks better, smells better and is of course no longer a heath hazard.

15.01.2022 Reno time! Move over avocado coloured bath this room is getting a makeover! Stage one of this main bathroom has seen that horrible unsafe concrete step removed as well as all fixtures like the bath, vanity & glass removed. The window has been cut down smaller so the entire wall can be utilised as a full sized shower and the natural light still enters the room.... Next will be the plumbing, sheeting and waterproofing.... watch this space for progress updates.

14.01.2022 It's hard to believe 1 year ago already the currency was loo paper. How time flies!

14.01.2022 It's been some time since I posted on our page due to Shane being off work due to his injury, so today seems like a great day to start. Today is our number #1 tradies birthday and he is celebrating 48 years young! YOUR tradie, YOUR friend, YOUR brother, YOUR son, MY husband and DAD to our boys, is a bloody good man and deserves nothing but a fabulous birthday today (even though he is at work) and fabulous days everyday forever and always.... So, if you are lucky enough to see him today, give him a big birthday cuddle, he's a big softy that loves a good hug. As you can see from the pic below, Shane is a very serious guy, very mature for his age and doesn't like to have a good time. HAPPY GETTING CLOSE TO 50 BIRTHDAY SHANEY!!!

14.01.2022 This kitchen bench was rotten underneath due to excess water damage, possibly encouraged by the sink area not having a sink with drainer. The bench top was replaced and a new sink with drainer was installed. Now this kitchen bench space is practical, easy to use and will have a decent lifespan. Happy owner, happy tenants!

14.01.2022 Another happy customer! Shane fitted a new glass panel to the ensuite shower that the owner supplied and we supplied and fitted the new Optima shower in the main bathroom. These clients are selling this property so i'm sure the new owners are going to think their new bathrooms look tops!

12.01.2022 Mother Nature certainly created a drama in this main bedroom! With the recent bouts of rain we have had, this ceiling gave way and fell in, so a quick repair was needed for the tenant to be able to move back in. With the expert help of Prompt Plastering, the new sheets were installed, new cornice fitted, and the ceiling was ready for Shane to paint. ... It's great to have other trades you can call on when your in a bit of a pickle. Just knowing they will do a great job makes the process a much smoother one for all involved. Thanks Guys!

12.01.2022 Glass and Glazing apprentiship completed! Well done to our number one tradie for adding another trade to his tool belt! Shane has worked in the glass industry for over 7 years now and his main line of work is shower installation and anything windows and doors. Need a quote? Give us a call!

11.01.2022 Wood rot be gone! These photos speak for themselves. Shane did a fabulous job with this. He removed the rotten chamferboard at the back of this property, installed new panels then painted to finish it off. With the left over board, he made a wooden panel to fit over the top of the toilet window for privacy and protection from the weather.... Looks great!

11.01.2022 This is a laundry fit out Shane did for our lovely friends parents in their new property. They ventured over the Tasman to come and live here to be close to their big kids and their gorgeous grandkids. The laundry was the final piece to be completed in their granny flat. Jenny's choices on colour and layout were spot on. A practical, workable and good looking laundry.

09.01.2022 Well hello! Fortunately for us, Covid 19 hasn't effected us too much in the past couple of months so it has been business as usual. In saying that, our daily work life has definitely changed a little with wearing gloves and mask etc, continuing to keep all parties safe while carrying out our property maintenance.... On that note, it's been a while since I posted so following are some pics of what we have been up too in the past few weeks. Hope you are all safe and well

06.01.2022 This wall had been cut so the plumber could find a water leak. Once his job was finalised, our job was to repair and paint the wall. You wouldn't even know there was a big hole in it once Shane was done!

06.01.2022 Do you have a list of things in your house that need cleaning and really can't be that bothered? I do, considering I do it for a living, my house tends to be on the back burner when it comes to jobs like the air-conditioning vents, ceiling fans, blinds and windows. This weekend I have stopped thinking about it and have started my list with the air con filters. A simple and easy task by vacuuming the dust off, spraying with my favourite OMG spray, rinsing off after 5 mins then drying in the sun. All done and ticked off the list....NEXT!

04.01.2022 The front landing of this property had rotting decking boards in need of urgent replacement for safety reasons. All existing boards were removed and disposed of and new treated pine boards were installed. The boards were left natural for the owner to stain.

04.01.2022 One of the properties we worked on this week got some much needed love & attention. The front and back decks were sanded, washed and re-oiled as well as the timber beams, we replaced a few rotten timber treads on the back stairs and repainted, rubbish was removed and trees were trimmed. A bit of a spruce up has made a big difference to this house ready for another summer of entertaining!

04.01.2022 Today is a bit of deja vu..... another door makeover! What a wonderful difference a few coats of stain make to a tired and weathered front door. Restored to its previous beauty ... It certainly makes the entrance to the house pop!

04.01.2022 Team work makes the dream work! A productive day of lawns and yard work at 6 properties today. Each one looking good and ready for it's new tenants. All done now and totally buggered. I think we deserve a cold beer.

02.01.2022 Today saw this bathroom get a little make over! Out with the old and in with a new chrome shower. What a world of difference this makes to the bathroom and the tenants were very happy too!

01.01.2022 The laundry is getting some love too! I forgot to take a before photo before everything was taken out but you will be able to see the transformation from these pics as we rebuild. This space has the laundry tub in corner, under bench room for the washing machine and dryer, overhead cabinetry with drying rail and a big arse broom cupboard to store the washing baskets, vacuum cleaner, mops, ironing board etc. ... It's taking shape very quickly so will post another pic soon
