15.01.2022 As a lot of you will know I have worked for myself for a lot of years (since the early 90’s). I enjoy what I do and never struggle to get up and come to work, Michelle and I now have staff we employ that that live in the area and we have a great reputation the area for what we do. We get compliments for what we do and I know we are appreciated for helping people out. Then you get this next level of appreciation, it’s from the Jimboomba times by a long time customer and someone who has become a friend over the years I have known him and his family. Thanks Brad makes my job worth it.

06.01.2022 So on Saturday morning I headed for Ipswich to do a delivery ,then picked up some pallets to go to a job on the Gold Coast. I noticed some weird movement in wha...t I thought was the tandem trailer and stopped for a walk around and look. Nothing obvious but a smidgen of a rattle in one bearing on the trailer. I just put it down to a crosswind throwing me around. I'm fastidious about smells and noises etc in my gear and felt all hubs for heat but nothing serious. So I done my drop, then picked up and started heading for the Coast when things got really bad. So I pulled over and checked for broken springs etc but zilch. I wound the windows down next to a sound barrier and slowed down so no engine noise and noticed a bearing noise. Anyway, got the trailer picked up by the Motorway rescue mob and taken to Steve France at the Puma and surmised that I could drag it home from there at low speeds. Not a squeak out of the ute or problem until I hooked the trailer back on and the arse end started doing the lambada and breaking into the macarena periodically. I expertly (but modestly) backed it into the yard, unhooked the trailer and rang around for some decent non- Asian built bearings. So off I went to Beenleigh for bearings, an auger and a Cavendish banana plant to fill my waking hours on the long weekend. I lead an exciting life. Didn't happen. This time the ute had given enough hints and done a dos- si- do from one lane to the other across Kingston Road. "Ah ha! " I said to myself "Mudster darling, it appears to be the ute" Just my luck. Only just out of warranty and with just 490,000 kms on only the best roads and hardly ever carrying as much as a spare tyre in the back, the first time I hook a little trailer on the back it throws it in. No wonder Holden packed up and left. They knew I'd be cranky. Anyway, for just the second time ever,it ceased to proceed . So this morning it was at the Home or Away Mechanical and attacked from all sides by their best spanner hands and Paul Guilford. Collapsed bearing which in turn murdered a couple of other bits that seem important and I even got a courtesy car because I'm a regular and promised them a plug. I can't believe that I used to spend half my life crawling over and under trucks and cars doing my own maintenance and repairs. Now can I have my dog back? See more

06.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE, WE ARE BUSINESS AS USUAL.

05.01.2022 Thank you to Nikki for making louie his official office manager uniform! go check out the leash lady for all sorts of doggy goodies!!
