25.01.2022 Today’s newsletter went out to all of our past clients and I just had to share these return emails from previous clients. We are very happy with our new roof on the patio. It's quite pleasant to sit out there and it has also made our family room and kitchen much cooler. 24.01.2022 Today I escaped the office to help my husband build a carport. He taught me all about making the roof sheets square and I got to use power tools! Girls can do it! Thanks for the lesson Julian but my fair skin says go back inside. @homeshieldpatios

Whilst Julian is busily working Saturdays to catch up on rain delays the rest of the family was planting trees for our wonderful neighbours the beautiful Warner Koalas. Teaching the next generation to give back with no expectation for anything in return. #scoutinglife

19.01.2022 25 years ago today I met this young man! 21 years ago today we said our I do’s and started our life’s journey! 16 years ago today we bought a business Life is never dull and has been full of ups and downs but together we make a pretty good team! Thankyou Julian for being a wonderful husband and a great Dad to our three beautiful children. Looking forward to the next 25 years with you.

13.01.2022 Carports on Small lots are still possible. Single carport 6m x 3m is all Brisbane City Council will allow but it still provides necessary coverage for your car in storm season. Now is the time to consider a carport before we hit storm season again. Boundary relaxations take approx 4-6 weeks so if you want something before Summer now is the time to act. @homeshieldpatios

Yesterday saw us reclad these upstairs gables in vinyl Durratuff cladding after sustaining damage from storms and not so gentle roofers when the house roof was resheeted. If you need a job done properly use the correct trade to do the job for you so it doesn’t have to be done twice. @homeshieldpatios leaves one happy customer now the damage is fixed.

06.01.2022 Carports with purpose is our speciality. This carport was designed for a high bus that is custom designed to fit wheelchairs in it. Now the clients can get in and out of their bus without getting wet. Grateful carers and happy clients. @homeshieldpatios

06.01.2022 In my limited spare time I volunteer in our Community to help shape development within our community to ensure there is space left for our precious wildlife. We have achieved many things through persistence, professionalism and community engagement with local developers. Our Warner Koalas are in better shape now than they have ever been and our legacy for our children will be the wildlife corridors that have been planned and saved throughout Warner to ensure the ongoing survival of the Urban Koala and Wallum Froglet. Putting my knowledge of local planning laws to good use to help save Koalas habitat is something that I am immensely passionate about and I am so fortunate that my incredibly supportive boss and husband has a love for all things animals as well.

05.01.2022 It was our greatest pleasure to build a new roof with purpose. The roof on the toilet block at Scouts Queensland - BP Park at Samford was in a state of collapse. Considered unsafe to use it needed a full transformation. A new independent Insulated Roof will now give the toilet block a new lease on life. Our children spend many, many nights out camping at this Scout campsite so they are very pleased with the results. @scouting_for_life @homeshieldpatios

04.01.2022 Last week we completed this rubbish bin enclosure for the Gold Coast City Council at a Community Centre. The last one was timber and vandals burnt it down. This time it is all steel and aluminium with large locks to keep them out. Something a little different always is great to do to showcase our products and skills. @homeshieldpatios
