23.01.2022 The festive season brings with it lots of celebration and - fireworks. Many pets are scared by fireworks. Make sure your pets are securely inside the property and have access to their crate, house, cage, bed, or cosy place. You can talk to the vet about options like low doses of sedative. What do you do to calm your pets during fireworks? Suggestions?
17.01.2022 What are you getting me for Christmas? Most pet owners buy a gift for their pet - sometimes they spend more on a pet than their spouse! Make sure you get a good quality toy from a pet store or a veterinarian, not a dollar store. You want to make sure the ingredients are not harmful chemicals, and there are no sharp or insecure parts, to injure their mouth or tummy. Sharp plastic can shred the stomach or intestines. And keep the edible treats to a minimum, also making sure they are designed for animals, not harmful to your loved ones.

01.01.2022 What do you do if you go away, whilst your home is listed for sale? This is when it is essential to have a home sitter. I used to do this kind of house sitting a lot. I will keep the home clean and aired out, the pets secured during a showing, show the realtor the features and workings of the home, and bake some cookies so the home smells inviting.
