24.01.2022 News Release: Hospice Peterborough Funding Announcement Today, County Council proudly presented Hospice Peterborough with the second of two financial contributi...ons of $175,000.00. Linda Sunderland, Executive Director, was on hand to receive the donation. Hospice Peterborough strives to enhance the comfort, dignity and quality of life of individuals and families living with, or affected by, life-threatening illness or grief. In 2017, Hospice Peterborough supported 367 clients from Peterborough County. The donation will be used to help with the construction of a new 10-bed facility currently being built. The new Hospice Residence is expected to open in February, 2019.
