19.01.2022 It's the most wonderful time of the year Last week we had our annual Christmas Party to celebrate the end of 2020. A year that was full of challenges and new experiences for everyone. A great day was had by all, with entertainment from our 'Jam Session' group and the great hospitality provided by the Frenchville Sports Club Ltd

18.01.2022 Farewell 2020! The year of many challenges and many more opportunities. Despite the tests and trials of 2020, we have seen some wonderful things happening for our clients. It is always a pleasure to have the opportunity to celebrate successes and milestones, big or small. HSA remains very grateful for the chance to play even a small role in people ‘living they life they choose in the community’. We would like to extend a big thank you to all our valued staff for their tireless efforts to deliver quality supports to our clients and your commitment to HSA’s vision. Hanging out with the #jackspaddockyeppoon crew this morning brought us closer to bringing more amazing opportunities to NDIS participants on the Cap coast. If you love being outdoors, spending time with others, gardening or working on handy projects, and you need support to get involved, HSA have definitely got some great activities for you. 06.01.2022 'Please sir, may I have some smores?' HSA are so proud to have partnered with #4milefarm for this pilot overnight camp. Despite the cool of the night, nothing interfered with these guys getting stuck into some jobs, feeding the lamb, playing games, feeding the lamb, telling jokes and stories, and having an all out great time (oh, did we mention feeding the lamb? ). Thank you to our fabulous hosts Nicky and Ben, owners of 4 Mile farm. Your efforts resulted in clients gaining courage to try new things; make new friends and work together with confidence (as well as feeding the lamb). 06.01.2022 The Information Technology group visited the Walter Reid Cultural Centre this week. We learned how sound and lighting equipment are used behind the scenes to create shows in the auditorium and everyone had a chance to be the star of the show on the stage. Fun fact: The centre was once a warehouse and is now used by many local groups as a hub for activities!

If you have a disability and a lifelong need for 'attendant care support' in order to participate in community activities and attend venues, the Companion Card can help you with the costs of getting out and about with the support of a companion. Companion Card holders receive a second ‘companion' ticket at no charge at participating venues and on public transport. The 'companion' ticket is also exempt from booking fees.... A companion is any person who accompanies a cardholder and provides attendant care support. The cardholder’s chosen companion may be a paid or unpaid assistant or carer, family member, friend or partner.
