01.01.2022 HEARTS FOR HOPE: I’m starting a fundraising initiative for a local shelter for women and children fleeing Domestic and Family Violence. I am hoping to raise around $300 and have asked the Shelter how the donation could be put to best use by families over the Christmas period (ie as non-perishables, children’s gifts, Coles or Woolies vouchers, toiletries etc). Some of you may have noticed I’m a mad keen potter, so as of last night I have commenced production, rolling out hund...reds of heart-shaped Christmas tree ornaments imprinted with my Nonna’s tatted and crochet doilies! The first batch should be available for purchase in a fortnight or so. I’ll glaze them gloss white for versatility with hanging ribbon. I will be selling them for $5ea, with $3 from each sale going to a kitty for donation to the shelter. Please email me [email protected] if you would like to place an order!
