Easter Saturday - Saturday, 3rd April Easter Sunday - Sunday, 4th April Easter Monday - Monday, 5th April Anzac Day - Sunday, 25th April Queens Birthday - Monday, 14th June Labour Day - Monday, 4th October Christmas Day - Monday, 27th December Boxing Day - Tuesday, 28th December Although we don't know what this year may bring in terms of holidaying, it is still important to take annual leave - even if it is a 'staycation'. Here are a couple of tips to make the most of your annual leave throughout the year! Turn Australia Day into a long weekend. This year Australia day falls on a Tuesday, so ask to have Monday 25th off to have a 4 day weekend! Use Easter weekend to have a 10 - 16 day break by using a maximum of 8 annual leave days. Take the 4 days off before Easter weekend or the 4 days off after Easter weekend to have a 10 day break or put them together to have a 16 day holiday! This year Christmas and Boxing day fall on a Saturday and Sunday, which means that the following Monday and Tuesday will be public holidays. If you apply for 3 days leave from Wednesday 29th - Friday 31st you will get 10 days off in a row! With just those 3 holidays you can turn just 12 days of annual leave into holidays that last a total of 30 days! But be in quick before your workmates work it out!

Be realistic! Setting unrealistic goals is one of the surest reasons you wont succeed. Track your progress - this will help you stay interested and motivated....
