18.01.2022 Hi Everyone! The Corona Virus has all of us thinking a little differently, and creatively, about how we can connect with each other. I can’t get to all of your schools right now because of distancing laws and travel restrictions, but that doesn’t mean we can’t see each other, and learn in different ways. Contact us to find out more. E: [email protected]

15.01.2022 A pity the Elders and young people involved in developing these fabulous books couldn't have been at the ABC interview to tell their stories. Hopefully, after Covid19 - once again a few people will be able to squeeze into the studio together again! https://honeyant.com.au/margaret-james-is-interviewed-on-a/

15.01.2022 Read more about this beautiful painting by Wadawarrung artist Deanne Gilson on ABC classic. She explains the story of hope, light and creation behind her artwork, Nyirram turt-barram, commissioned to illustrate the themes explored in Deborah Cheetham's new Christmas carol, Christmas With You.

13.01.2022 We are very sorry to hear the news that the Centralian Advocate will be moving to digital only from June 29. It is so much part of the Central Australian landscape and will be sorely missed by many, especially those who only have access to the printed copy.

13.01.2022 Exciting seeing children building the Honey Ant 'Nana dig' puzzle, then playing the board game!

12.01.2022 Isn't this colourful "Old Laddie" beautiful? The very talented and respected Elder, Trudy Inkamala, who created these, spent many hours with us in the early days of developing the Honey Ant Readers. Books 12, 13 and 14 are her stories.

01.01.2022 Cultural Elder Marjorie Nyunga Williams created this beautiful artwork entitled: Yanangu Waltja Tjutangku Nintini Pipirri Tjuta.(Luritja) The English title she gave it is: ‘Both Ways Languages and Culture’. It depicts working together to teach our kids ‘both ways’ through meaningful collaboration. Marjorie describes the painting, Elders and families sitting in a circle, learning the kids, Aboriginal way. The Honey Ant Readers books are in the circle so that the Elder can read out the book, and share the book. They are learning the kids to read. After that the kids can read. The HARs are shown to be embedded in the culture of the learners. #InThisTogether2020 #NRW2020
