24.01.2022 Our P&C believe that our teachers and school staff are incredibly important, we value everything they do, all the time, but more so now than ever. We want them to feel valued and as safe as possible whilst they are still working. In the last 24 hours our P&C executive committee voted to cover the cost of supplying EVERY classroom with antibacterial wipes, antibacterial spray and 1 litre of hand sanitiser. These items were delivered yesterday and this morning. Each classroom ...now has access to these items. Thank you to our P&C for funding these items (& everyone who has supported our P&C) and to our committee for also seeing the value in doing so. Thank you to the AMAZING staff at Honeywood Primary school. We see what youre doing for us, our children and our community and to say we appreciate you, is an understatement. We stand with you, we will support you and we thank you - from the bottom of our Honeybee hearts

22.01.2022 we are continually surprised by the amazing community support we get when it comes to our fundraisers. Another big thank you to Aus Mining Contractors Pty Ltd for donating all our cookie decoration items plus a bunch of other stuff! Schrader Painting Services Pty Ltd for donating a huge amount of paint that helped us make all the game boards you will see next week! Another thank you to Lux Collections for donating 2 very cool personalised t-shirt sets for our fundraiser and ...Honeywood Home Services for donating a gift voucher for our raffle too. 20.01.2022 Last night one of our brilliant Fathering Project dads, Adrian Engel, had the privilege of representing our school on a Fathering Project - Lead Dad Panel conversation. The topics that were covered were centred around what the Fathering projects mean to the school, and the group as a whole, and the importance of Fathers and Father figures in childrens lives. Adrian says it was good to reconnect with the broader Fathering Project community and share some of the schools succe...sses. Adrian has been involved in the Fathering Projecting at Honeywood Primary School from day 1. He is passionate about the project and is instrumental in its implementation at our school. We are lucky to have Adrian leading the Honey Dadgers group, a massive thank you to him and those supporting him. If youre a father or father figure at Honeywood Primary School, please join the Honey Dadgers group (see comments) and get involved. Its informal and just a great environment for father figures and their children. Thank you Adrian!

19.01.2022 We are excited to get back into it, with school returning on Monday. Our first P&C meeting will be held early in the term, date and time to come. We love new members and promise we wont hound you, whether you volunteer once or every time, its all valuable and much appreciated. 17.01.2022 A massive thank you to the Kwinana Men Shed for our new potting benches. We are very excited to start using these in our sensory kitchen garden. It is always fantastic to work with those within our community. We sent the Kwinana Men Shed a brief of what we wanted and their work was fantastic. Thank you & we look forward to working on future projects with you.

17.01.2022 Closing off 2019, we officially opened our kitchen sensory garden today. Thank you to our many sponsors who helped make this happen and to our many (many) volunteers who gave up endless hours to help produce this amazing garden, one we are immensely proud of. This year our P&C raised almost $30,000 in profit. We also secured just over $12,000 in funding for the kitchen sensory garden and a further $3000+ of in-kind donations. This closes off a very successful year. Events inc...luded mothers and Fathers Day stalls, a movie day, Election Day bake sale and sausage sizzle, free dress day, plant sales, our first school disco and our Halloween Spooktacular. Another fantastic and successful year, one that wouldnt be possible without our amazing and dedicated P&C team, in fact, our school community in general, so many people help out despite joining our P&C, we are incredibly lucky. 09.01.2022 To make things easier for all, our Halloween Spook-tacular event is run on a cash-less system. We use pre-paid tokens instead. We also use wristbands as entry tickets as this is much easier and reduces our paper printing. Dont worry - if you need to purchase more $1 tokens at the event, we will have a booth where you can do so cash and credit card (tap & go) will both be accepted (no eftpos). 03.01.2022 Our P&C is lucky to be supported by so many amazing companies and people. We would like to say a special thank you to City of Kwinana Deputy Mayor Peter Feasey for his continued support of Honeywood Primary School. He has been an active member on our school board since it formed in 2017 & is very supportive of our P&C efforts too. Today Mr Feasey donated a brand new 7th generation, 128gb iPad to the school, it will be added to our iPad bank for communal use in the lower primary year groups. Thank you Cr Peter Feasey
